Apologies
Some of you have either read or been involved in a thread here lately that got out of hand. The cause for that thread getting out of hand rest entirely on my shoulders. I take full responsibility for my actions and refuse to blame others. I am responsable for my own actions and my own reactions.
While I am always game for a spirited debate I pride myself on being able to remain calm and collected when things get out of hand. Last night/early this morning I did not do a very good job of controlling myself.
For that I apologize. I apologize to Dan and to any other members who were apart of the thread and to any membes and lurkers who had to witness MY childish behavior. I apologize to the member who I engaged in this thread. I let my emotions get the better part of me and acted in an inapropriate manner.
I apologize to Admin for my behavior in the thread and I apologize to MI for any involvement I had inyour situation. No matter what side of the fence I stood in I should have stayed out of it.
While some of you will not give a rats ass about this and some will possibly poke some fun (it is the lounge). My apology is heart felt and sincere.
I have felt bad about this from the moment I woke up today and have been thinking of the best way to address it. This is what I came up with!
Thank you!
Sincerely, Lunk

Unfortunatly as many know my dog had to be put to sleep this past December so the only thanks I give her is for the 10 years of loyal devotion and happiness she provided me.
No Mick. I am not sure where or why that rumor started but hunting season is around the corner and I am hoping I have better things to do
If i mention the little red head one more time my wife will be really pissed lol.

We all have our moments here. Suggest that you meet with DSM or Shol'va to help you get it all out of your system.

Lunk, nice job. Very mature and docile today.?...?. I didnt finish the thread(couldnt stomach it anymore), but it sounds like it has worked out now. You admitted fault and asked forgiveness from the board and in my opinion, came off humble and honest. Thanks for this, and I believe most everyone has forgiven you. Let it go and leave the rest up to the "higher powers". Thanks again!

It's like being at a bar; don't talk religion or politics, and military opinion should be posted on there because it can start a fight just as easily. People feel so strongly about those topics and nothing, not even pure reason will change it.
But I don't think there is anything wrong with having pride in whatever you're doing with your life, especially if it is something you devoted years to. Thank everyone on here who might read this and has served under any branch of the US military. God bless America and no place else!
Just kidding about the last part before it starts a fight haha
