During the class AXx I will shot of the light and have them imagine THEY are the perp braking into someones house. Then as they walk down the dark hall way and approach a bedroom door hey hear (I then rack an 870 slide). The look on their faces is priceless. EVERYONE knows that sound. No shot's fired and bad guy running lol

Can someone explain to me how obtaining class three items work?? I look online but it goes back and forth and confuses me. From what I can tell u basically have a dealer order for u pay him a tad extra and pay like a 200 dollar tax per class three item.

I live in California, so it's no walk in the park with this state. A lot of states are "Shall Issue", Cali is a "May Issue" state. It basically comes down to the county you live in. If in LA or San Francisco County, forget it, the Sheriff WILL NOT issue them. Even the counties that do issue them are tough.

Start to finish, it took me just about 1 year to get it. After the application is submitted, it's interview time with investigators. In the application, I had to have 3 written references, and 4 other references that the investigators call. A lot of it in California will pend on your "good cause" statement, which is defining a valid reason for you to be able to carry. Then just about every background check will be conducted (FBI, DOJ, CIA, and who knows what else). Then the last step is passing the class that is held at the Sheriff's department. I have to renew every 2 years, which also includes 8 hours of class time.

I'm also complete in AZ, and in process for FL. I believe I'm GTG in about 33 states. FL will add 2 or 3 more as well. I travel quite a bit, so for me it's peace of mind knowing I might have a chance to avoid being a statistic if confronted with a life or death situation.

Nope $200 tax stamp from BATFE, go into a class 3 dealer fill out paperwork for whatever is form you are applying. Pay your stamp money and when the tax stamp comes back you are notified by the FFL that your stamp is in and item can be purchased.

And since I saw some home protection posts, I have a Mossberg 500 and a Sog Machete. Ill slice the fool that breaks into my place. After I blow their chest out or head off that is. My "go to" CCW is the Springfield Armory XD9. I have ran everything through it 1000's of times, even shit loads, and it never failed once. No FTE's...no FTF's...nothing.

Some counties may have made revisions to their renewal policies. San Bernardino and Riverside still appear to be two (2) years, and judicial licenses are three (3) years.
