    Normally, I tend to agree with you there. But I ended up buying that 2 year 24hr Fitness deal at Costco for $340. I mean that comes down to about $14 a month for a membership. Can't really beat that. Plus, it enables me to lift whenever I want to (which is always way before dawn). So I'm fortunate enough to not have to see all those resolutioners as well.

    Well went to the gym at 4pm when I got off work. It was empty as fuk. Surprised by this I asked the key card chick what was up... She then replied we are closed. We closed at 4 today. After I reached back my pimp hand to smack, I stopped and turned around to slowly walk out the door with my head down. I just took 1mr only to go home and beat off.


    Serious forearm pumps tonight....

    Last night I couldn't find a parking spot and had to go to another location. Crazy busy. Sucked for us, but still had a great workout.

    And that is after somebody had to lift the barbell off of them because they tried to bench press 315 lbs on their first try!Which is 160 lbs more than their body weight

    I found a new gym- its expensive. $80.00 a month. Brand new equipment, place is spotless, and there is NOBODY ever around. Its mostly "working adults" so the rush is typically early morning. They open at 4 am and close at 9 pm. I go in at 6 pm and I'm the only person in the gym.

    Before that-I had one of those chain gyms here in IL called XSport Fitness. THAT was a mistake. Even worse than the January crowd; this place is all 14-19 year old kids. They don't even work out; they walk around and chat for hours jamming up the dumbbell pit. Then when they do decide to work out, they grab every weight they can and hoard them so you have to go ask if they are using that 50 lb dumbbell. Even better, the "I'm on Creatine guys" grab the 100 lb dumbbells and these guys are doing incline chest presses with their arms about breaking at the joints and their buddy is doing 80% of the work trying to lift this clowns arms up.

    That's not even the deal breaker; XSport has these stupid contests. "Biggest Loser" type contests that has something like a $2,500 cash payout and a free year membership to any NEW member that enrolls. So I walk into the gym one day for my chest routine; and there is this 400 + lb girl on my favorite warm up chest press machine. This chick is so big... she literally does not fit in the machine and is having her friend hold up the bar while she tries to squeeze her fat ass under it. Attempting not to laugh... I patiently wait and watch this tub of lard do a few sets of like 20 lbs and then she gets up. I walk over to the machine and the whole machine is covered in sweat and it smells literally like rotting cheese. That was it... I cancelled my membership and went to this $80.00 a month place. No regrets, whole gym is mine every time I go, no wait for anything, and nobody bothers me. $80 a month well spent.

    You know I had a girl come over and tell me I should add an exercise to my routine and I was so pissed off she had the nerve to do that I didnt eve relaize how hot she was and that she was trying to talk to me. She wont even look at me now bc I was kind of a dick to her and she totally knows that I know I made a dumb move lol

    out of the 8 guys in the free weight section of my gym today, there was 1 (me) doing legs, and the other 7 were doing biceps, lol...

    thank fk there wasn't anyone doing bicep curls in the squat rack..

    The 4-5 days a week I go there's always that one group of guys with their baseball caps barely placed on their heads, and all they do is chest and biceps every day. Then they glair at you like you're some kind of scum because you wanna use the pec deck lol. Some people's kids I tells ya.
