Haha your getting raped bro. I pay 115$ a month and that covers everything and the government gives me a 30% rebate at tax time. A family of 4 i no pays 220$ god its good to live in australia. I cant fathom how a country with as much money as the usa has so many poor people and does not look after its population with affordable health care. Have a look at the tampa incident
Of 2004 i think it was. A boat of ilegal imigrents was heading to australia and you no what the response was of our prime minister? Raid the boat with sas haha thats how you deal with ilegal immigrants...Last edited by Euroholic; 01-29-2013 at 07:50 PM.

It would be again if we could meet in the middle. Conservative fiscally and libertarian socially. Unfortunately Obama means to run it into the ground and make it a socialist rebuplic where everyone is equally miserable.

I can contest to the fact that most of them do NOT.
Thailand is/would be the best for a lot of people. I will be close enough to visit frequently but due to circumstances my investments, properties and such are in the Philippines.
America is the best country in the world; for me because it was where I was born and have the best opportunity to earn the income to make me comfortable for the time being and foreseeable future; I hope. Leaving to some place else is not an option at this time without great sacrifice so that is why it's the greatest nation in the world, to me.
I think we still have hope to fix/repair the damage but it will have to get a lot worse before it gets better. I'm hoping to be gone before then.

I could live in Thailand, Canada, obviously America and on and on. Switzerland, France, Spain. I think I could be happy in most any developed country in the world, but America is pretty damn good, imo.

These are the only things american flags should be attached to from now on.
EDIT: I voted no but then if the poll was "Is the UK the greatest nation on earth?" I would also vote no.
I have plans on moving to Australia. The West should really take note of how they do things over there.

Yup. Canada and it sucked. I'm sure I won't find Afghanistan much better either if I ever end up going.
I'm very proud of where I come from, i'm very happy to live here. America is a phenomenal country. Does it have its faults? Sure, but there's a reason so many people all over the world want to live here and gave the freedoms we have.Last edited by Armykid93; 01-30-2013 at 04:44 PM.

Sorry, I was being sarcastic with that, damn internetand its inability to convey sarcasm. No hate towards Canada and no I don't think Afghanistan will be comparable. I do prefer America over either though lol.
Idk where I was, it was quite a few years ago at this point. Went to a couple places though

That is what insurance is for. Anything catastrophic. Government doesnt run anything well from social security to the post office. They run these into the ground. I live in northern MI. Many Canadians come to our hospital to get procedures rather than wait for Canadian government run healthcare. It also caused a brain drain. Many doctors came over to the US. Its a no brainer. Canada takes 50% of your paycheck. They want to make a little money. If I hadnt experienced it for myself and talked to these people I wouldnt know.

Im not trying to say this country is better than any other but I think the more freedom you have, the better off you are. Our freedoms are quickly being stripped away though.

Categorically disagree with most of the shit he said. America IS the greatest country in the world.
My roommate and I were sitting around watching tv and a show came on the science channel explaining the big bang theory. It explained that the universe is actually expanding and showed pictures of the cosmos of places we can see with a telescope but will probably never visit. I turned to my roommate and I said "We're really just a drop in the bucket. Shit we're not even a drop - we're a molecule in the bucket if you think about it. We are so insignificant."
He turned to me and he said "If you really feel that way thats not healthy and I feel bad for you."
I said "What are you saying that you feel like you matter and you're substantial in the universe and you have purpose being here on this planet?".
He said "yes".
Anyway I'm not going to inundate anyone with some Rah Rah bullshit but I could have been born some poor Indian sweeping shit on the streets of Dehli or an African starving and under constant fear of rebel attack or a Japanese planting rice in the patty fields but I wasn't. I was born to what I believe is the greatest country on the planet. I'm thankful and I want to believe there was a reason for this. Maybe it comes off as cocky to say that. There are countries that if someone from there told me they are the greatest country I would say OK if you believe that thats fine. UK and Australia come to mind immediately as having a legitimate argument. What is really ironical about the speech in the clip is that by saying we're not the greatest country he is feeding the very vaginal culture he is ranting against. Thats something a puss does. Yes we have had some weakening of our overall culture and what we hold dear and what we are willing to work and fight for. But to make a grandiose statement that we are "no longer the greatest" is pretty vaginal and not something I would see come out of someones mouth who is manly patriotic etc. It just sounds like the kid who fails at sports so he condemns sports as stupid and a waste of time.
PS I love that actor he's the best

Sarah Palin can save this country.. well not really but id motorboat her all day
Motorboat 249 up, 228 down
The act of putting one's face between a voluptuous pair of breasts while making a vibrating noise with one's lips and shaking one's head back and forth between breasts, simulating the sound a motorized boat would make upon water.
That chick's boobs are totally motorboatable.

If we had conservative people leading the country it wouldnt be 30%. We dont have a revenue problem. We have a spending problem. Lots of people dont pay for their insurance. Their companies do. They will see a shitload of new taxes once Obamacare becomes fully realized. Its bad for everyone. Did I mention the sales tax in Canada? Liberal policies dont work. Its simple economics.

Sales tax for me is 5%, and the max I get taxed on a pay cheque is 35%.
In the long run everyone's bias to choose the country they're born and raise. Only thing that makes me like the states is the weather. If I could ditch the snow for life I would in a heart beat.
