Yep. The LCP can hide just about anywhere.

That's a old saying that I preach to my libtard friends & family when they can't get it through their dense skulls why we conceal carry.

A libtard NObama supporter family member of mine asked me a while back why I conceal carry, I told her "I carry a gun because a cop is too heavy to carry around all day".

Well, if I had a gun I would have attempted to shoot every on of those bastard's and unloaded my gun on them. HOWEVER that is my problem which is one reason I don't carry. The another is I can't own or handle a gun and my own safety.

It is what it is and remains best for all. Just my honest testimony. ...crazy, mike

    it's complicated.

looks like newbs can't post vid links...

oh well. good vid on current status. two riders have been indicted. rover driver not yet. one rider in icu (he doesn't deserve it).

    both sides share some blame.

copy from this thread post #41.

    both sides to blame
this is a sad tale of escalation.

    1. riders dominating highway, likely impeding 'cages' (cars to riders) freedom to drive (my speculation, but certainly consistent with report).
    2. rover guy gets pissed and yells obscenities (from press report).
    3. rider gets pissed and slows down in front of rover (beginning of vid).
    4. rover guy hits bike.
    5. all bikers stop around rover, likely intimidation (second part my speculation).
    6. rover guy over reacts and runs over a few bikes and 'gets away'.
    7. bikers tail and follow off highway.
    8. rover stops at stop light.
    9. bikers get off bikes and smash window (end of vid).
    10. bikers pull out father/husband and beat him in front of family.

my view. both sides share blame, hard to make real call here as both sides had opportunity to back off and neither did. good thing no one here had a gun or it probably would have ended worse.

^ You can stop at number 1. They all deserve to go to jail. Every single biker. I would have not felt bad one bit if the rover driver killed every single one of them. They put his life and family in danger, they deserve to be in jail or killed by the driver. That would be justice. Anything short of that is asinine.

Once you put my life in danger, all bets are off, and your life suddenly becomes just as worthless as you treated mine.

Did anyone else see the video from earlier in their ride? A prius ran a green light, or tried to, and the rubber knife gang bangers, surrounded it, and busted up their car.

I can't fathom why the police never arrived in any of the six different videos posted, that I saw.
I'm smelling lawsuits somewhere. I know I'd be pulled over in a heartbeat, if I drove my car the way they drove their bikes.

Definitely not fault on both sides. Only stupid move was not hitting thr bikes while driving and when he came tonthe stop light he didn't back up or try to do anything. Still confused about that one?

    Totally 100% agree with aust...

Very cool post # 91 by Austin and I feel the same way. The bikers started it and put everyone including themselves in danger. Like a shark frenzy they acted !

The Donut video...first time in my 87' Corvette. Bumper to bumper and just two lanes stopped in traffic jamb. The oncoming traffic moving fast, when I turned my wheels tight to the right, held the brake when I punched it and let the brake off, I did a complete 360 and stayed in the lanes. Freaked the wife and myself. I learned a new trick and ended up burning up the rear tires in less then 5000 miles. Not cool.

    Cool car ...crazy mike

I drove up the west side highway coming back from Jersey while this was happening. Didn't see it though but heard about it when I got back. I agree with Austin, if they had done that to me their lives would have been forfeit.

I have grown children and grand babies and know that the little girl will be haunted with this memory imbedded in her brain for the rest of her life. Just so sad. I can't help but say I hope the son of a B rider that had the injuries doesn't walk again. FKER deserves it

    Thanks man.

Wow. Look at how they're all riding. No turn signals, getting super close to cars, riding the shoulder, cutting several cars off. These guys are not your typical group of good ol' bikers that are out for a fun ride. These are trouble making maniacs. There's at least 60 violations in the first 5 minutes of the first video. The guy with the black bike, white shirt and black vest has no working brake lights. Popping wheelies on a busy highway, unplated-non-street-legal quad runners.

At 3:45 they stopped traffic to let their group pass through a red light. Second video is even worse.

This is an intentionally careless group with no regard to other people's lives. I hope they are all identified, slapped with so many violations that they can't afford, lose their jobs and rot in jail. Unbelievably, vile and disgusting acts. I hope none of them have children, and if they do, I hope they are taken away from them. If they own a home, I hope that's lost due to paying for attorneys, and I hope they have the worst attorneys ever. This made me so angry.

There you have it. These are your local TERRORISTS.

And I'm not even done watching...

    point taken

to austinites point, i agree the bikers were flagrantly violating the law and causing a dangerous environment for themselves and (more importantly) innocent bystanders in the area. further, they should be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law as their behavior if left unchecked will result in more tragedy.

and... we see how poor judgment by the rover driver significantly increased his and his families risk. the practical advice offered by jalopnik makes the most sense:

"If you find yourself in Lien's situation, I would advise that you:P

    Move to the right.89P
    Slow down.P
    Lock your doors.P
    Call the cops.P

Basically, just do what you can to let the riders by and get out of the way. When it's you surrounded by a couple hundred bikers, anything you try and do will probably get one of them hurt, and then you'll have hell to pay.P"

to put my earlier comments in context, lien escalated the situation by "panicking" and running over the bikers as opposed to a more prudent action of pulling off to the side of the road and letting the hooligans by. there is some blame in that in my view, but he certainly does not deserve the beating he eventually received. and the family in no way should have experienced the overall trauma of the events captured in the video and after. thus the bikers should be prosecuted to the full extent of the law. btw, it seems that the police need to be taken to task a bit here as some of the reports suggest a tacit acceptance of biker behavior...

i have an suv and family. i visit nyc to visit extended family - it could have been me. if such a situation does arise, i will protect my family first by avoiding dangerous situations and then, if there is no option to avoid, protect by fighting.

^ He didn't panic at all. I don't see panic, I see self defense. Your entire argument is fruitless. He screwed up BIGTIME by not going in reverse, then forward 100 times until ALL the Terrorists ganging up on him were on the ground soaking in blood. He was cornered. Likely called the cops, surely bystanders did, too.

    Called the cops.
    Cant turn left.
    Cant slow down
    Locked his doors.

    Did everything right.

It wasn't until they slashed his tires that he took off. Me being a biker can still say everyone of those bikers were in the wrong.

Only thing I would have done different was after I ran that guy over was put it in reverse and repeat.

its mind boggling really. these thugs should be given a warning and then shoot them one at a time until they are all gone. who the hell they think they are endangering other drivers lives?! bunch of scums, they do what they because they have nothing to lose, our welfare system at its best. and I am sick and tired of listening to illiterate ghetto politicians tearing these thugs as victims.

I don't mean to play the race card here and respectfully I have not seen the ethnicity of the bikers so I myself may sound racist making this observation. I agree this whole ordeal is fuked up and all these bikers should be shot in the dicks and faces and I'm assuming they are all black and Spanish seeing as it's in NY and they are riding crotch rockets.

I live around the corner from an Angels club house and I constantly see them fuking with people and being complete A holes at local bars yet I never hear anything in the media about it. Perhaps it's because these bikers were in NY and they shut down a highway is why it's getting so much attention. I just think outlaw bikers in general are pieces of shit.

guarantee half those damn bikes or even all are STOLEN. I wouldnt swerve to miss one of those assholes for nothing. Dumbasses, looks like a damn 10 year old on a cr250 which is a very strong bike. don't get me wrong I loved riding these things also but I was at least smart enough not to put my life or someone else's life in danger riding it. Cant even afford a helmet.

Some (probably most) of the bikes were stolen in the Baltimore video. I remember years ago when the video was posted in the "stolen bikes section" of the Thumpertalk forum and more than a couple people recognized a bike or two. Who buys a dirt bike to ride on the road, numbers the plates and tricks out the suspension and exhaust to ride wheelies through town on a $200 set of knobbies? Maybe they had extra money for all of the the motor accessories because none of the riders I saw spent the 2 grand or so to outfit themselves with proper riding gear? It's all out in the open, the bikes and the behavior, yet the cops don't do a damn thing and turn a blind eye.
