The NYPD has very low standards nowadays and the DT look like your every day street kid. I highly doubt he was deep under cover for something.

I saw the wife of the guy who was run over claiming the SUV started it by bumping one of the bikers a few miles down the road earlier. lol She was asked if there is proof of this. She could not look at him or the camera, she looked at the ground as she weakly said yes. Then she was asked if there is video of it? She said no. Why not? Because it didnt happen like she said. They were probably surrounding him like you see in the video, taunting him and his family and one of the bikes got to close and got bumped.

As far as I'm concerned from what I have seen the biker who got run over got what he deserved and unfortunately the SUV driver did not just start using his SUV as a ramming tool and run as many of the bikes over as possible.

According to witnesses people had to jump in at the end because they group were trying to pull the wife and child out of the SUV also. Bunch of punks need to go to jail for a LONG time or worse.

"One rider Jay Mieses was sent to the hospital with serious injuries. He is currently in a medically-induced coma and his family claims he may be paralyzed from the waist down. Mieses, by the way, has a criminal history of riding infractions and is banned from driving in Massachusetts until 2017, as the Boston Globe reports."

From what I can see in the videos it wont make a difference. He was already paralyzed from the neck up. No fvckn brains.

my view. both sides share blame, hard to make real call here as both sides had opportunity to back off and neither did. good thing no one here had a gun or it probably would have ended worse.
I respectfully disagree. "over reacts"? I don't believe there is such a thing when one feels his safety and the safety of his family is being threatened by dozens of thugs.

I say too bad the driver *didn't* have a gun, or it would have ended worse for one (but hopefully many) of those cvnts.

Could the driver of the SUV have made a decision (i.e. pulling over) that *might* have diffused the situation? Yes. Does his failure to have made that decision put him in the wrong on any level, as such that you say he should "share blame"?

No sir, not in my opinion, not one bit.

lol, yea, very likely that one dude in a vehicle with his wife and child was the one instigating shit with dozens of dick heads on bikes. That's believable. Here's what happened, plain and simple:

    > a bunch of loser, gang-banging thugs decided to go to an unsanctioned rally with no permits, etc. On the way, they drove with complete disregard for human life and people's safety. Driving on sidewalks, doing tricks in the street, driving in oncoming traffic, intimidating other drivers, etc. These were not a few 'buds' going out for a ride.

    > for whatever reason, SUV accidentally bumps bike. VERY likely because said bike was being driven irresponsibly... how could somebody NOT hit him?

    > bikers start shouting at SUV, being aggressive, banging on vehicle. Driver becomes fearful and decides to flee (fight or flight - basic human survival mechanism. He made the right decision).

    > Some cvnt got his legs run over in the process. Guess he shouldn't have been trying to block the vehicle. Get your fcking thug ass out of the way next time.

It's too bad there were many more injured bikers. I can't tell you how glad I am that the one guys supposedly is losing his legs. THAT is justice served. Now he'll have a GOOD long time to think about the cvnty way he chose to live his life. He got what he deserved. Now we can only hope the rest of these jerk offs are brought up on charges and they all stick.

The only crime here will be if the driver of the SUV is brought up on any charges. The guy did NOTHING wrong, other than going too easy on those fcking assholes.

Oh, and Austin - I like you that much more now, because everything you've said here could have been pulled right from my brain. Amen brother, love the fire. We think the same on this kind of shit.

If you think you would stand up to these bikers you've been on Tren too long and you brain has been pumped beyond any recognition of sanity. I hope the kids and his wife get over it. Its sad because you cant do anything, you cant help someone. The law makes it that if you protected those people and hurt someone you go to jail and then they sue you. Its ****ed up

Totally different scenario had our constitutional right to bear arms not been taken from us here in the NJ/NY area. Liberal cvnts.

    New scenario:

    SUV bumps biker

    Biker becomes hostile

    Bikers approach car

Driver rolls down window, sticks his .45 in that little bitches face

Biker pisses and shits pants. Gets back on bike, sits in said shitty pants, drives home.

    The end

I guess that is true in some states. What a terrible law. I guess no worse than not being able to protect yourself though. Where I live you are definitely allowed to step in an protect someone whose life is being threatened if you feel inclined to help. I think it happens more often than most people think but nobody hears about it if it doesn't make the news. Safer for everyone to keep it quiet anyway. The only time I was ever arrested (PI) was for coming to the aid of a female who was being threatened. I stop it. I go to jail. They leave together. Oh well...

I have a buddy that was jumped by three guys. He is a big solid guy and had a years (1) training in boxing. He put all three guys in the hospital and went to jail for a few years. The judge said he should have restrained himself as he was much bigger and a trained fighter. He got jumped from behind by 3 spanish guys over a gang initiation and protected himself and ended up in jail. Its not only the jail time but you have to worry about getting sued. My finacee and I are pretty successful and I think about that all the time now when an altercation arises.

My pride may hurt but my wallet will hurt more and longer. The law protects criminals in NY

Pathetic. If I was the judge I would have applauded your buddy and told the prosecutor his clients should be thankful they're not breathing through a tube (or worse) the rest of their lives.

Sure, there are those that will say the thugs deserve a fair trial and justice but what's the point of learning self defense tactics if you're supposed to restrain yourself!?! What the heck was he supposed to do? Tell them to stop and walk away hoping they wouldn't pursue? The thugs instigated the situation and got what they deserved.

An eye for an eye would correct a lot of the behavior nowadays. Just saw on yahoo that a guy in Arizona was final put to death. Killed someone in 69 and got off then killed someone in 78 in which he was given the death penalty. 35 years later he is final put to death and was still trying to appeal death penalty.

I respectfully disagree. I've never been on tren . I've also put my life on the line numerous times for others: been shot at, had guns put in my face and down my throat, have been stabbed twice, have had knives pulled on me, have seen more dead bodies then i care to admit to, knowingly gotten into a fight knowing it would be at least a 5 to 1 disadvantage in my favor, and never backed down when I felt I was protecting others. Death is peace and if I can find that peace while protecting the ones I love, I'll die a happy man. Please don't assume things about me and the lengths I'd be willing to go to protect my loved ones. Not all of us fear death and not all of us associate sanity with inaction. I'm sorry if I came off as rude, that's not my intent, but we do not know each other and it's foolish to assume such things about anyone.

Your sister is right, an eye for an eye will make the world blind but if someone comes intent on taking my eye, they damn well better expect the same. If I'm going blind so is the f**ker that made me so!

Can't blame you for that stance Doc. I feel the same way about my kids. I remarried but my kids are everything to me and I'd give my life for them if it meant they would live on. I don't have a death wish but I do feel their lives are more important than my own. I feel the same way about my wife. She has been a victim of unspeakable brutality by people that claimed to love her. I won't let anything like that ever happen to her again.

I have no kids but I can only imagine what you, as a doting and caring father, would do to protect them. You would not hesitate giving everything including life to make sure they are safe and I commend you for that. Places I've been to and lived in are not exactly like that and the parents are more concerned with their next hit than if their 5yo had been fed in the past week. I may have a death wish lol but that's another story, protecting one's progeny is hardwired into every decent human being and even many animals. Most of my ex gfs have gone through brutality, abuse, rape, harassment, etc and these are a few of the times my life was put on the line for others. I got stabbed breaking up a domestic abuse between a husband and wife. The guy was punching her on the ground and kicking her head with steel toed boots, I could not sit back and do nothing. My cousin and I managed to stop him but he pulled a knife, stabbed me and sliced my cousin on the chest. Cops came and got the guy. The look the woman gave us gave me the only tears I've had since my grandmother died many years ago. She was thankful to be alive and that someone had the decent to step in bc at least 4 other 'built' guys had walked by and didn't even call 911. Would I do it again, you bet your ass I would. Sorry to go off track but hi and I are cut from the same cloth MI, the well being of our loved ones is of higher priority than the well being of ourselves. It saddens me that the woman in your life had to go through such painful experiences but it seems as if she's found herself a 'knight in shining armor'. I'm not much of a drinker but to those of us who understand that as men, we ensure the safety of those under our care

Respect and admiration Doc for what you've gone through and being a decent human being. There aren't enough people like that any more I'm afraid. The only time I've shed a tear in front of my wife was when we were dating and she told me about the abuses she had faced. She told me that she was a "dirty woman" and didn't deserve me. My heart literally broke when she told me the things her ex husband (and his buddies) had done to her (I won't say anything further, but I'm sure you can figure it out). I hope I never see him. I'm quite certain I would make him suffer in ways he can't imagine. It's truly despicable how little disregard some people have for others and humanity in general.

I never saw myself as a father, but the day my son was born (I have a 6 yr old boy and 2 yr old daughter) something inside me changed and I was overwhelmed with a feeling I have no words to describe. My daughter was an unexpected blessing after my ex wife and I lost a daughter earlier (long story but that kind of loss rips you open from the inside out) and my 2 year old is my princess. You are correct, their lives have a greater meaning to me than my own.

Thank you for sharing your story. I'm sure it's not easy but you are a rare individual with traits not commonly seen these days.

Fcking disgusting. We live in a time where scum are protected better than decent people.

Man, reading how you feel about your children actually gave me a frog in my throat. I know exactly how you feel because I feel the same way. I'd give my life in a heartbeat for my son, there's nothing I wouldn't do for him, no amount of suffering I wouldn't endure to ensure his safety, should I ever (God forbid) be put in the position. I don't think I'm a great guy because of that fact. What I *do* think is that's how it *should* be, and it saddens me to see parents who don't share our sentiment. Parents who haven't done ALL they can do to better and enrich the lives of their children... I just don't get it. Selfish underachievers.

Thanks Gbrice. My ex-wife is planning on taking my (our) kids back to Canada. It's a tough time right now - especially every time I'm with them and they look so happy and excited to see me. Nothing can compare to that feeling. I've told my son no matter where his mom takes him, he and dad are buddies for life and he and I are "team forever". My daughter is still too young to understand what's going on, but she'll be my baby girl no matter where her travels take her.

I share your feelings. If either of my kids needed a vital organ to survive (and I hope it never ever happens), without hesitation I would give them whatever they needed even if it meant this was my last breath. I've done a lot of stupid things in and with my life, but my kids have saved my soul many times and I consider them my single greatest achievement.

You'd love the last place I lived at...parents beating their kids with aluminum baseball bats, one dad pimping his own daughter out to feed his dope addiction, guns being fired weekly, people driving drunk 24/7 through the complex where little children are ALWAYS at play, a mom bashing her sons head into a speed nump bc he got his girl pregnant, and even much worse!
