I think that no one is posting. It appears to have slowed down quite a bit. I’m speaking for Obs but I have also noticed the slowdown. Most of the vets have gone into hiding. LOL

Maybe almost is right and its just a timing thing. Just seems to me that new guys dont post more than once or twice, maybe one thread then they get beat down and you dont hear from them again. Not saying constantly, and no data to back it up except what i see, but how many new guys you see start a thread, then dont even respond to some of the comments afterward, and they are gone.

Alot of people are turned off because they dont get the enabling answers they seek imo. Im sure the advice givers would rather the 19 year old hell bent on running aas left in a huff rather than being given dangerous info, carrying out the cycle and sticking around.

And by no means do i think anyones advice should shift from being safe or sound advice. But in the last few wks ive brought it up a few times in different threads, about the way some people come off, talk to others, spew names, etc.

Im not a 19yo kid, but even me- if i came to this forum and maybe asked a stupid or uneducated question about something i obviously wasnt knowledgeable about, and got some smartass answer callin me stupid, id blast and not come back either. Theres plenty of space in the world wide web to find info and talk about this stuff.

And i guess maybe i have a different viewpoint. Personally i think alot of the young guys that co e asking uneducated questions, are gonna cycle or try aas regardless of whether they are told its a bad idea. I dont know, but would guess, that alot of them hqve either already started when they get here, or are hell bent on doing it regardless of what someone on a forum tells them. If that is the case, my personal view, is that if i cant stop them or change their mind, its prob still better off to help them alomg then to take the chance they end up getting their advice from some rock dumb dude from the gym or somewhere else. Completely understand that point of view. Im am a 19 yo lolol.

Its just the 'im doing it anyway' attitude doesnt quite site great with me and im sure others also. Alot of guys on here refuse to answer young guys questions through their own morals. Which is fair enough.

The information is here to cycle safely without any futher input, its just whether people sre willing to dig for it.


That board would be vastly more popular if we turned into s source board or enabled every young/morbidly obese member into cycling.

I guess maybe the way i see it, theres a fine line between helping young guys who are gonna do this to their body regardless of anyones opinion, and enabling young guys who shouldnt be doing this to their body.

Its not easy. Theres constant advancement in social media, etc. Samsons right, you can google and find thousands of threads and forums to browse, join, get info from, or whatever u want. Before that, yeah, forums were cutting edge. But as with everything, you have to keep up or become extinct. I think the hard part now for forums is to know how to keep up and stay relevant. In the end, its gaining new members and obviously sponsors/income.

those are the ones just looking for a source and as soon as they learn we are not a source board they take off for greener pastures...in my opinion that's the number one reason that's why we loosened up the rules a bit as of late...

Yeah thats a good point GB. No doubt that accounts for a good number. I was more referring to some of the guys that come actually lookin to get some knowledge and figure things out. Those are the guys we would want around here.

And i say that, because it happened to me and a few other decent new guys that ive talked to, and it is a real turn off. I got thick skin so didnt really bother me, and i figured i would just keep my mouth shut, but it does bother some.
