    Careers

Does your career affect your traing in a positive or negative way.
Sometines i feel like my physical work causes less energy and aggression after work while i train.
But i could see sitting all day at a desk having sone type of impact on spine stress.
I am a union carpenter and pushing screws threw metal all day burns me out.
What do you guys do and how does it effect your training?

I teach high school & it’s more mentally than physically draining. Depending on the time of the school year, my workouts can really take a beating because of it.

My occupation doesn't require any physical effort.
I feel like it's best if there is some median between that and a physically demanding job. Because I don't think the 1-1.5 hours I spend at the gym 5 days a week is enough for me to actually be physically healthy. In general, I am tired and lethargic most of the day. I think it's because my body knows it doesn't need to output much energy outside of the gym, so it doesn't. Might be conducive to bodybuilding, but not general health

My career kills me. I have hit a wall because of it.
Physical to maximum extremes. I am getting old because of it too.

You need to factor in some down time on a routine basis. Including taking breaks from the gym.

My job hurts and helps. I fly a desk for 8 hours a day, so no extra calorie burning, get stiff, bad ergonomics at my workstation etc .... On the other hand I only work M-F 6:30AM - 2:30PM so plenty of time to hit the gym after work. Also I make good money which allows me to purchase the items needed and pay for two gym memberships.

I work in a aluminum refinery, union run. Well I’m happy as hell with mine well kinda just started a dayshift 2 on 2 off 12 hr shift vs the horseshit 8hr swing shift so things are looking up for me at least for the rest of the year
Hot ass job at times but most of the time I’m sitting on my ass in the a/c. Can’t complain pay ain’t to bad either.

    I tried.
My personality is a little... Disorderly.
I started scheduling jobs a week out for no reason and going to the gym when I should have been working.
I got mad last summer and git to 238 and could not go anywhere without someone saying something about how big I was.

Then I realized it was because I had put work and family as my #2 priority.

The biggest thing between a pro and a guy like me is the priority list. I gotta get my shit together and take it slower. It will work though. I am just impatient with work and building.

Not to complain but my joints cant take this shiz much more.
My right hand grips and thats a chore some days.
I cannot do intricate things with my fingers. They just dont move for crap. Spine is having random issues at random times but always something.

I absolutely love lifting and the feeling afterward after a couple days off charged up on insulin . Cannot beat it. Wont ever stop.

Truly would love to diversify into something less physical like being a punching bag or crash dummy.

Personally what I've noticed with labor jobs is it is barely about muscle strength but holy fuck is it important to have strong wrists and also to protect them. I've literally never had any muscles wear out but my wrists tap out fast if I am not careful with how im moving stuff.

I work in retail management so I walk about 5 miles a day at work. Some days are physically demanding(putting away heavy ass furniture) but for the most part it’s just a lot of walking. I don’t get to the gym until 11pm after work most days though. That’s how I prefer it honestly. No gym full of retards. And after gym just eat shower then sleep.

I don’t feel like my job impacts my workouts positively for the most part. On my days off I feel much more sluggish from not moving around so much.

Best preworkout is ephedrine/guiafenisin, cialis, caffeine, tren base, test base, halo, mibolerone , and a line of coke.

    Prove me wrong.
