I need to go there. I stink really bad and it never seems to go away. At first, I thought it was the high tren . I haven’t taken tren since last comp. And I smell like formaldehyde when I sweat.

Charlie, your dedication is insane & enviable, brother. Looking forward to see how you dig the primo, ordering mine in a couple of days.

Thanks Prox, I'm just sticking to the plan... mostly out of cardio-fear. I'd rather eat clean and lift hard then run on that infernal treadmill from hell.

Sadly my base stance on life leans towards lazy

Sorry for the late post.... life is that pesky thing that gets in the way of living.

Finished week 4, into week 5 now. I feel fantastic. I have zero sides, I'm strong as hell (relative to me) and my focus at the gym is terrific. I'm tracking some happiness qualities just for fun:
The Charlie & GearHeaded Project, another cycle experiment.-gearheaded_log.jpg

Diet changes: GH replaced the slow carb in my #3 meal with a bagel.... well technically he said easily digestible carb and maybe implied white rice or potatoes… I choose a bagel the first day because I like to live on the edge and I was potatoe-less at the time. We also realized I was not getting enough salt, so I'm adding that to everything now. For those reason, or others, (who ever really knows) I had a great back workout yesterday.

Gear Changes: This is the last week of Test/Deca /Tren Ace/Mast. Starting next week I'm moving to Test/Deca/Primo. I've never ran primo so I'm looking forward to it. I always struggle with injection site rotation... I will inject almost anywhere (hams/chest/bi/lats/delts) but some oils are just so thick that using a 25g needle takes a full 2mins to inject 2-3 cc's. Currently I pull everything into one needle, inject every Mon/Wed/Fri, and it’s about the most I can inject in small places like biceps… yes, I said small... I can't hold still long enough, and push the plunger hard enough to really do lats or shoulders without shaking like crazy. When I move to next week I'll be at about 3cc's if I do everything in one needle 3x’s a week, so I'll probably move to daily injections and hopefully the primo will be thin enough to hit shoulders and lats... whatever, I'll work it out. I will say, more frequent injections seems to really help mitigate sides, but I might be making that up in my head.

Progress photos: These early morning photos are humbling. I feel like I’m getting fuller, after 4.5 weeks, I’m up only 6 pounds, but I seem to be filling out in the chest:
The Charlie & GearHeaded Project, another cycle experiment.-front-pump.jpg

And my back after a workout seems full:
The Charlie & GearHeaded Project, another cycle experiment.-photo_1580776522557.jpg

But It’s really hard for me to see much in the flabby morning pics:
The Charlie & GearHeaded Project, another cycle experiment.-week_4_l_side.jpg
The Charlie & GearHeaded Project, another cycle experiment.-week-4_front.jpg

Tonight is Chest and some other unimportant muscle, which usually keeps my motivation high.

For other motivation, does anyone remember that episode of Friends where they make a top 5 list of people that they are allowed to sleep with without repercussions?? Well, the hottest trainer at my gym…like seriously fit 26yr old with a smoking hot body…. She is on my list.

SHE came up to ME (I know right?) last night and started talking. She came up and was like, “Excuse me sir, are you done with this machine?”. And I was like:
The Charlie & GearHeaded Project, another cycle experiment.-hixwxov.jpg
Mrs. Charlie seems to think it wasn’t a come-on, but she’s the supportive type so she encouraging me to, quote: “oh… ya. keep it up big guy, sounds like it’s getting real.“. You guys think she’s serious? She kinda rolled her eyes when she said it….

I mentioned we made a small change to my diet, replacing slow carbs with fast digesting carbs in meal 3.... basically the two meals before I workout I eat 50g of fast digesting carbs (EG: begal, white rice, etc).

I cant believe what a big difference such a small change has made. The change was predicated on my lack of pump over the last few weeks. This week, the pumps have been significantly better and I feel like I'm getting more work done. I have no idea how much is mental versus physical, but I feel like I'm moving forward and that is the most important part.

Hahaha, amazing what a little attention can do. I guarantee she wants you tell the Mrs not to be jealous.

So impressed with the log, your dedication, and your documentation! Just the fact that you volunteered speaks volumes big guy.

Chest is noticeably fuller, as is your back and it looks like you picked up a couple ham straps on the back of your arms. Triceps definitely look fuller too! Congrats buddy, keep charging!!

Any guy that pulls out a bag of raw fucking spinach at a company meeting and starts nibbling has my full respect

(Vascularity coming out of your chest and shoulders is awesome too)

    Embarrassing Confession:
When I do chest, arms, or back and get a great pump, I seem to be far more vane, checking myself out in the mirrors thinking I'm big when I'm not. But I feel big, so I look.

.... But legs. Shit. Had a GREAT leg workout today, super pumped.... But it's impossible to see under my pants. And when you're as hairy as my legs are, taking a picture doesn't do it justice. My legs just look like big hairy legs.

There's so very little reason to WANT to work legs. I do it, twice a week in fact, but it certainly isn't for show.

Tomorrow is chest. If it goes the way this past week has gone in terms of pump, I'll be objectifying myself I'm the mirrors the whole damn workout. Jeezz... I might be a creep.... If I am, no one tell Mrs Charlie.

    Best,
    C-

    Keep it up!!
One way of having your legs be more important is to shave them. When you start seeing the distinction between the quad muscles, it makes you want to work more.
Come on Charlie, don’t be a pussy, shave them legs. LOL

Warning: if you do, Mrs Charlie May think your a creep. LOL

I guess this is one of the advantages of being a relatively hairless man.

...or should I say WAS a relatively hairless man. Seems like everytime I’m on Tren I get harrier. Not even just normal hair either, like then occasional 3” long one that just pops out of your shoulder over night

My CPAP checks in with a website every morning and I can see my score in hours of sleep, mask seal, how many breathing events I have per hour and how many times I took my mask off to get out of bed to pee! These four things give me a total score 0-100 (each is weighted differently). Mask seal and hours of sleep are weighted the most. Still not a tell all about how well you slept.

A couple years ago I did a sleep study. They concluded, basically, that I just wake up a lot at night for no real apparent reason.... maybe brain activity, but my tiny monkey brain doesn't seem too active to me.... A typical night for me is to fall asleep about 10, sleep hard until about 12, get up for an hour, fall back asleep from 1-3, up at 3 for an hour, sleep hard from 4-6. They gave me pills which do indeed help me sleep for 6-8 hours straight, but they also make me sleep through things like sick kids at night and tornado sirens. So I don't like to take them.

I'm a sucker for that kind of data. Its not always an answer to a problem, but its often times good for helping define the problem. Someone told me about a ring you can wear at night... probably similar to smart watch, which is supposed to tell you similar data about sleeping habits.... I dunno. Maybe getting back on the booze would help (just kidding, not going there).

    Since you asked.....

Simple fast Salmon prep. 1 plate, 1 pan, 1 spatula, 7-10 fillets if you do two batches. Super simple.

I love Salmon, but my wife hates it. I end up normally cooking Cod instead.

Has she ever tried Talapia? It's very light, more so than Cod I'm my opinion. And you can cook it in bulk because it'll last 4-5 days easy, and unlike cod, it's more uniform in thickness so it cooks evenly.

Same blackening seasoning. Spray a cooling rack with Pam and stick the rack on a cookie sheet. Broil it on high for (in my oven) maybe 8-12 minutes.

    Cuz and KINGKONG like this.

    Phase 2 gear
Started phase two today, the Anabolic phase. Switched to Test/Deca /Primo, dropping the Tren and Dbol . This is my first time ever using Primo so I'm looking forward to it. The Primo is THICK.... Seemed like it took an hour to drive 2cc through a 25G needle. I don't often inject my delts because holding that pose to inject the side delt is uncomfortable after a minute...not to mention pushing the plunger on thick gear is a bitch. Since I don't inject my delts often, there's a bit of irritation there this afternoon... and by "bit of irritation" I mean it F'ing hurts! But I need to do two needles on Mon/Wed/Fri so I need more spots.

Probably I shouldn't have done this two hours before I train back.... but Fk it, I'll just grind up some Dbol and rub into the soreness and go about my business.

I love Tilapia. One competition I prepared for I only ate Tilapia the week before... 6 meals a day. Tilapia for breakfast isn’t that bad. LOL

Try this variation next time see if you like it.
Spray cooking oil on a cooking sheet.
Spice your salmon with tumeric, salt and pepper
Put a piece of lime on top and a sprig of thyme.
Shove it in the oven for 25 minutes.
    Enjoy the deliciousness.

How much longer are you using the primo? If your going to be on for a substantial amount of time i can filter some miglyol 840, and send it to you to cut the primo. Its the thinnest carrier oil you can find even compounds dosed at 4-500mg shoot through a 25g like water.

Another trick for thick gear is to get some 1ml tuberculin syringes for injecting, and do 2 1ml injections. The smaller plunger makes it easier to push the oil.

I hate Primo ace and the PIP, just can't do it. I tried and I was limping sore, also had red welt. Tried three times and threw the shit away.

Another trick for thick gear is to get some 1ml tuberculin syringes for injecting, and do 2 1ml injections. The smaller plunger makes it easier to push the oil.
Thanks for the offer, I'm not smart enough to start mixing crap together, lol. How did I never know about the smaller plunger difference....? I might have to give that a try for injecting lats.

    Week 5/6 update:
Things are going well.... When I started in Jan I was 254lbs, today I'm 263. I feel like the last 10 days have been the best 10 days so far. The morning, no flex pictures just don't capture the changes... I need to find a way to take some pump pictures at the gym, but its so freaking crowded and the locker room is tiny. It's hard when you go at 5:30 in the evening when the whole world goes. I've had a few people comment on my size this week, just overall "bigger". My legs, judging from the uncomfortable tightness in my thighs, and certainly fuller, and I fell like my back is maybe fuller.

Its weird, but I feel like I've maybe lost some fat because the flab around my waist seems smaller, but more water-jiggly... who knows. My ankles were a little swollen last night, but work has been a bitch lately and I'm on my feet all day.

In caparison, my side shot seems slimmer, but almost smaller... but I can tell from my shirt fit, that I'm fuller.... All this self scrutiny is driving me nuts, lol.

Other than aesthetics, I'm feeling great. I'm stronger, my joints feel great (aside from the ongoing shoulder irritation), and I'm having good workouts. I've been killing the diet... although I feel like I'm getting a bit too much fat, but I'm doing what I'm told so staying the course. Next week we're changing up the diet and the training.

Simple fast breakfast meal prep: Lean beef, eggs, brown rice, and hot sauce.

Your really not mixing anything. If you shooting 2ml of primo you just pull 1ml of the sterile oil into the syringe. Then let it mix in the syringe and shoot it. Miglyol 840 is so thin if you leave the syringe sitting needle side down your oil will start to run out. Even small 25g needles.

The smaller syringe will also make it easier to shoot.

Why not start to work into primo depot (enanthate )? There’s less bite, and it’s usually dosed 200mg/ml so less oil.

Primo e at 200mg can have some pain as well. Most primo dosed at 200mg has some bite to it, it can be minimal to pretty bad. If primo e at 200mg is painless it requires some EO generally.

While I agree it still has some bite to it, having run both I can definitely say that the enanthate is much more mild.

I think my irritation was more from 2cc's in new muscle.... My second injection was in my thigh, no issues at all except it takes about 3-4 minutes to inject. I'm going to try a small barrel next time and see how it goes.

Just chugging along doing my thing...

Just finished my first week of primo, not a whole lot to report just yet.... it is a slow injecting oil but I'm dealing with it.

Workouts have been great, weight remains about 263. Which is about 10 lbs up from where I started in January. I've been fighting off a bit of a cold the last couple days, but I feel my best when I'm sweating at the gym. It's weird how even days where you're a little low on energy and sickly, you can go to the gym and still have a great workout.

I'm off today so it's mostly grocery shopping, kid maintenance stuff, and hopefully a little snuggle time with Mrs Charlie tonight.

    Have a great weekend,
    C-

    Hey guys,

I'm in week 7, embarrassing-morning-un-flexed, end of week 6 pictures below.

Honestly, I feel great. This is the lowest side-effect cycle I've ran. Granted, I'm small dosing it, but still. The heavy non-chicken diet, the workouts, the gear... I'm hesitant to curse myself, but everything seems to be clicking.

I ended the Dbol last Thursday, and I have dropped 6 pounds since.... I freaking LOVE Dbol you guys. Seriously... While keeping Dbol gains is seemingly impossibly, many maybe underestimate the value of it as a pre-workout. If there is a better one, I'm hard pressed to name it.

The pictures never seem to show nuanced changes... In clothes I can tell I'm bigger overall. Everything is bigger, if poorly defined. And I'm still doing zero cardio. But I feel great, I'm having awesome workouts, and I'm happy.

FWIW to anyone, this was good advice. The 1ml syringe really does make pushing thick gear easier. Thanks Jstone.

Quick Story... Hired a new girl at work. She's ok at her job, if a bit socially awkward. I can tell she's more awkward around me than others, and I've heard from others she's intimidated by me. She tries to cover it by making sudo-inappropriate jokes about my size, the way I eat, etc...etc...etc... mostly to other people. Its getting rather annoying. Mrs. Charlie says its because this girl has a crush on me, whatever... but I find it interesting that she "gets away with it" when there is NO DOUBT that if I returned the favor, commenting on her diet, plus-size, or stature, that I would INSTANTLY be written up. This morning several people were standing around the coffee pot and I jokingly said to the crowd in a normal tone of voice, "everyone get out of my way, I need coffee". She said out loud, "jeezz man, roidrage much?".

What do I do with that? My first thought was, "do I really look like someone who lifts.... cool!". Because sometimes I don't feel that way..... but then I thought "ya know, that's not really a thing in my opinion".... Then I thought, "do you really think I look like someone on gear? Good!".... Then I thought, "Am I embarrassed about it?"... Then I thought, "wtf.... can she really get away with saying that?"... Then I thought, "Can I say back to her, jeezzz bitch, PMS much?".... It was a very confusing 10th of a second.

What I did was fill up my cup and while walking out said "Did you really just ask me about hemorrhoids? That's pretty gross, and probably inappropriate, someone call HR" and walked out. WTF....?

Anyway, end of Week 6 pictures... they are what they are:
