    A lot of ignorance in this thread about powerlifting gear. Before some of you "little guys" start bashing geared lifting, try it. Better yet, this forum has a powerlifting section. Ask the question to the real powerlifters here (like myself). I've lifted geared in the past, I absolutely hate it. I prefer RAW, but I respect geared lifters because it's very different than RAW lifting, that is why its considered a totally different sport than RAW lifting.

    And for all those using long arms as an excuse to benching heavy, that's B@LLSHIT!! I have an 84" wingspan and have benched in the mid 500's. You Tube has a lot of great instructional vids about geared lifting you can look up to educate yourselves before making some of the idiotic posts I've seen on this thread.

    At 194lbs I did 405lbs for three reps, that was three yrs ago... I got married and stopped lifting. Don't get married...... Now im getting divorced time to take my long missed supplements.
