At 180-190lbs what do you bench?
Alright so i just hit a target bench press weight that i have been after for about 15 years now. I am not trying to impress anyone and I am not trying to start a pissing match here. I am simply curious what you 180-190lb'rs are benching out there.
p.s. sorry about the sh!tty post, throw me a line here though guys...

Thats huge! I'm nowhere near that action but i'm feeling inspired anyways about my latest step up in weight on the bench. 143kg. I'm getting only 5 reps out of it for now but I had to step up from 127kg for a while to help progress overall on the bench. You're a beast man!

At 182lbs i can bench 100kg for 6 reps which isn't great but i am 5ft 11 with long arms. I can flat DB press 45kg's for 6 reps which is stronger than my bench!

Well, when I weighed 190# I had not yet touched AAS. My 1RM on the bench was 315, and 365 on the decline. That was just last year.
I am now @212# and 14 weeks into small test deca cycle. 1RM is 335 flat, and 390# decline.Last edited by vtach12; 07-20-2011 at 06:32 PM.

I am 190 lbs and can bench 315lbs for 1 rep. I usually push 225lbs 8 times. I am 5'10 with long arms too..... All you forigners with your metric system is getting me all confused.lol jk

usually its all relative,, if i could keep improving a steady 2lb increase every month then i would be estatic,, shitty thing is when you hit your peak, especially using aas you will always see anything less as inferior and then you feel the need to get there again with a bigger and badder cycle.

when i was on a cut diet and bout 170lbs i moved 225 flat for 8 reps and declined the same. bench press is my cryptonite

I did 395 @ 175lbs 5'11
Anavar is magical @ 100mg a day lol
But yet again ive always been really strong for my size. I benched 305 @ 148lbs in high school naturally.Last edited by RoidReaper; 07-20-2011 at 01:16 PM.

??? U must be around some weak people. 225 is a joke. All of us on the weight lifting team in HS were over 300 @ 180lbs with the exceptions of a few people as myself who benched 305 @ 148lbs ALL NATURAL. Pause benching, comp style. Not the stupid slam off your chest bench.

I dont beleve you. 225 isnt amazing but its strong...in general most guys would consider 225 for reps strong. My e diick is 16 inches by the way lol
I do 275 for 5, and 225 for about 12 and Im about 190 5"11. Bench is my weakest lift but I can dead 505 no problem for reps so that makes up for it.

I rarely see guys under 200lbs put up 300 or more for reps.

I think a good bench for a 190lb guy is about 100kg (inc the 20kg bar) for 6-8 reps. you rarely see many bench over 140kg for 6-8 reps.

At 185 on Monday did 260# for 4reps on last set. Doing 225 for 12 reps.
Db 100# incline, 110# flat, for 6 reps.
My question is comparable to db and bb how does everyone match?
