Steak nutrition
I eat a .75 - .9 pound steak every night for my dinner meal and I was wondering if anyone knew the aprox calories, fat, carbs and protein that would be in a decently lean steak at that weight? I am just trying to come up with some exact numbers on my current diet.

If you don't have a food scale yet, I'd suggest you get one. The weight before cooked and after will change..more than you think so make sure you are using the appropriate one. What kind of steak are you looking for facts for?

Approx 100g protein for 16oz steak.. that's too much bro and way too much Sat fat. Try salmon instead

Hmm interesting. Always thought steak was the ultimate bulking food. I should get a scale though that would probably help. That sure is a lot of protein though haha

I eat the f*ck out of red meat while cutting actually, does very well for me.
Depends on the cut of meat you are using.
There are no carbs in meat though!!!!!!

Yea I didn't expect to find carbs in meat....no idea why I asked about carbs haha. Swole do you also feel that a steak a day on a bulk is a bad choice? I try to stick to good lean cuts.

I'm eating a couple steaks/day right now and I'm 7wks out from show.. cutting down just fine. I think it depends more on what else you're eating that day and your total macros. Although I'm cutting out redmeat 2-3wks out.

Diet looks pretty solid according to my fit day...right about where I expected it to be. Would really like to try and get a few more cals though to bring it up to 5k a day but the fat is getting a little high. I just love high fat food to much lol.

I really like that diet you have there...unfortunately due to my job I could never pull that off My boss doesn't care if you wanna be Mr Olympia or not....you just wont get to eat more than once in the 8 hours you are there. I finally decided I need to buy some meal replacement bars so I can sneak something in between lunch and my PWO meal since I work out after I leave work. God I wish I could just sit home and dedicate my life to getting huge.

I'd quit that job and find one that welcomed and worked around your lifestyle.. jobs are a dime a dozen. You're only young once.

Totally depends on the cut of meat. I would generally stick with Eye Round or Top Round cuts. They are fairly lean...now sometimes you may want more fat. But with the amount you are consuming in one sitting I think those two cuts would serve you best. I dont think there is a need for you to have that much at once but whateva's cleva.
