You shouldn't base your entire diet on a protein drink. Use whole foods for your mainstay and put a couple drinks into areas where eating a meal may be difficult..

    good luck

Looks like a diet that you can lose a lot of weight on but you'll be losing a lot of muscle, too. I never have a protein only meal. Make your meals pro/fat or pro/carb. Read the cutting sticky.

whole food protein is far more thermogenic due to the fact the body has to utilize a much greater amount of energy to break down the polypeptides rearrange the amino acids into what i needs and then reconsctruct new polypeptides. when u consume something like shakes the aminos (unless its a casein or soy shake but even then its not near as effective at maintaining a higher metabolic rate as food is) are free and there is very lil energy need to BREAK THEM DOWN since that step has already been bypassed and in whey's case they are so readily availible that they are sometimes utilized as energy i.e. glucose instead as blocks for muscle building

thus that is why many people who compete drop shakes out when they begin to diet .. some even drop pwo shakes and replace w/ foods so that they are really smokin some fat off.

    Protein shakes are crap:

Liquid whites and liquid aminos are 100% Bio-Available, high protein foods like: chicken, fish, beef, and turkey, must first be broken down by your body before the proteins can be truely absorbed. The same holds true for protein powders (whey protein, milk protein etc) and engineered food & drinks. The truth is your body is only consuming about 1/3 of the actual protein of these items - the rest is wasted! My motto try and not waste on anything even your bitch lick that ass and p-ussy and drink that liquid jucies....

Glen Quaqmire is right, you'll def lose weight on this diet, but your also gonna lose a TON of muscle drinking nothing but shakes. And if you are gonna do protein only meals try and have some veggies with it (spinach, broccoli, cale, bell peppers). Any fibrous veggie will also help you cut and should be a staple of a cutting diet anyhow.....Giggitti Giggitti
