Yeah just because its not the 'norm' for this diet seems like a cheat.
Well I have a friend going away this weekend for some time so we are going to a great chinese restaurant.
I WILL NOT over eat. I will be sensible in what I eat. It will be two weeks without a cheat so its a small reward.
Plan today: I have a game tonight so I wont be in the gym as I first thought. Diet will still be 100%...

S4MS - Thanks for the link appreciate it.
Got a bad knock on my right foot last night. Doc suspects a cracked metatarsal b ut am waiting to see when the swelling goes down. On crutches for 3-4 days. Will be going to do light upper body work tomorrow.
Weight has fluctuated a pound up / pound down since last weigh in so im same weight.
Again thanks so much for the support.

Update...
This week was so frustrating for me since I hurt my foot. Went backwards in my weight loss - gained 1.2 lbs and I am now 166.7lbs...
Good news is I do not have a cracked metatarsal and will be good to go tomorrow so I am back in the game.
Have being beaten myself up this week as I was doing well and really motivated.
A dilemma I have - since a week has been taken due to injury will I start my cut again or not count this week and continue to week 2?
Also I took this diet on as a favour for a friend of mine but he is unreliable when it comes to returning calls and emails so am going at this cut alone
Last question - I have decided to take weekly tape measurements but was considering taking weekly skin folds too ( getting someone else to do it - a friend or possibly my girlfriend ) I think with pics, scales, tape and skin fold measurements I will really know how my body is responding.

Well I am on crutches again and will be until wednesday or thursdasy...
I hope to have my diet spot on and we'l see how the days turn out.
I realise a time limit should never be put on a life style change because of reasons outside our control.
Looking forward to get back into training

Diet has been good with the exceptions of me eating 50g carbs in form of brown rice or sweet potato per day.
This is not a part of my diet but I was told it will be beneficial to my recovery.
Wont weigh in until friday (day I am off crutches). So far diet has been on par.
Im 21 on friday also so next weekend will be hit and miss.
Stay tuned I promise by the new year I will be a new person.

Macros are still the same as yesterday. Well pretty close.
Today is a non training day. Well I have soccer training for 1.5 hours.

carb cycling?
Ok I've been running a no/low carbs diet awhile now and to be honest i can't do it!
I feel tired all throughout the day and some of my workouts ain't the way i want then.
My question is what you think about carb cycling?
Do my cals stay constant or increase on high carb days and decrease on low and no
carb days?
I was thinkin something like this
Sunday. - Low carb
Monday - no carb
Tuesday - moderate carb (2 training sessions)
Wednesday - low carb
Thursday - moderate carb same as Tuesday
Friday - no carb
Saturday - high carbs (including one cheat meal)
What you all think need as much help as possible guys!

glad to hear that the foot has healed. one thing, don't get too discouraged about what the scale says everyday. weekly weigh ins are a better way to gauge what's going with your body, so if your weight fluctuates a pound here there in two days, prob just water. you seem very determined to do this and we will be here to watch ya do it!

i am kind of playing with this myself so i cannot really answer your question. i try to have all my complex/starchy carbs before 2 pm and only have little to none after that. i guess i can say that i do moderate carbs everyday during the week and high carb on the weekends. i just started this so i will have to see what happens in the next two weeks. some more experienced people like GB or twist can help more but i know GB just had junior so he may be gone for a while.

I love low /no carb, it actualy makes me feel great!...altho I am on anti depressants baaahahahaha, but seriously I do feel better on no/low carb and energy is higher also seems to be the only way of eating/ living that agrees with my body getting/maintaining fitness. Have not done the rotating carbs like you, but do have 1 day of eating carbs per week (so body doesnt think its in starvation mode) also I agree with Ragin, twist & gb seem to have what your taking about down to a science, Id PM them

Still deciding on the carb cycling. Not sure on how to approach it yet.
Adding in brown rice to my post workout meal and removing some fats.
Would like to give carbs cycling a try for a few weeks!
No carb just does not agree with me physically.
Extremely sore from soccer training last night. Gym workout tonight!

with regards to the carb cycling, i think there was a thread a few months back that talked about this. might have to dig a while.
-
09-28-2011, 11:46 AM #74
Thanks ragin.
Had a look about today! From what i understood cals increase and decrease depending on the day but at the end of the week i will still be 3500-7000 cals under my maintenance
Which is 1-2 lbs per week. Still have to look around about fats and how many carbs to consume on the different days.

that i wanna run on Monday.
I just wanna find out if its good for cutting. I've also heard people say they have cut
and gained lbm on it.

Ok so beginning on monday I will be running a low/no Carb diet. With the help of a very respected member of this board, I will be at 100g Carbs on workout days and no Carbs/very little on non-workout days.
I am going to be on a 3 day split. The planned split looks like this...
Day 1: Chest/ Back
Day 2: Shoulders/Arms/Abs
Day 3: Legs
All workouts will be supersets... (Except squats)
