Cant stand Oatmeal, advice?
So oatmeal is a good portion of my diet but I juat can't stand it,
I eat a cup at breakfast and a cup with blended with my protein pre workout.
I've tried cooking it grinding it and blending it mixing with applesauce. No matter what I do it makes me gag and want to puke
Anyone know any quick easy and not disgusting tricks to get my oatmeal down pre workout and for breakfasts? Or better yet an alternative to oatmeal

I throw in 1.5 cups in my blender with 1 scoop of whey and 8-10 whites and 2-4 whole eggs. I actually can't really stand shakes without oats in it now.

is it the taste or the texture?
have you tried stevia mixed in to sweeten it up?

I like it with chocolate protein powder. Tastes like pudding. Also buy the finely ground oat flour for shakes (You can just grind it yourself)
There are the fantastic protein pancakes (1 cup oats, 1 cup egg whites, 1 cup lowfat cottage cheese, tsp baking soda) recipe is in recipe section but basically blend ingredients in blender and cook like regular pancakes. (Add frozen blueberries if it fits in your macros)
There are also some good oat cookie recipes in the recipe section.
Or like jimmy suggested you do not "have" to eat them. Brown rice or sweet potato are good complex carb choices. Its easier to stick with the diet if you chose foods you like. (From the appropriate choices)

Have you tried steel cut oats? If not, give them a try. They are quite a bit different than your regular oats. I am not a fan of regular oats (stove-top or instant) but I love steel cut oats. I find normal oatmeal too mushy and ‘sticky’ I guess I would say … steel cut oats have a different texture entirely although they are a little more expensive.

When I make them I usually cook enough for 4-6 days and toss them in the fridge. I add a few raisins, or dried cranberries if you don't mind the sugar, while they are cooking for some extra flavor and the raisins also absorb extra moisture which helps with reheating. When I get up I toss them in the microwave for 2 mins, I don't even add any water, and voila!
