18.5 is 55.5 hct. You really think a single whole blood is enough?

You were 53.6 on the BW posted a couple days ago, then you donated. What's up?

I'm thinking their finger pricking test was less accurate at the blood donation facility

According to labs you were Hct 53.6. If you're hydrated and donated you should be okay but likely not less than 50 unless a lot of fluid on board. If worried just pull another CBC and post it up.

Well, latest and greatest drama… Doctor is talking about taking me off of my TRT due to HDL and LDL levels…

Crashing your T won't help. It's only causing even more problems. Educate this guy.

Agreed. But he thinks he already knows all there is to know. And not many docs will take medical advice from their patients lol

Considering a double blood donation tomorrow. Dr's getting anal about my bloods and I need them ideal to keep him from taking me off TRT. Since i was so high, 53.5-55 HCT, before my whole blood donation over a week ago, do you see any problems with this?

If you haven't had labs then you are just guessing so not sure what the reasoning is. I would pull labs and if at or above normal with normal hydration I would donate again. If below normal I would not.
Additionally, may not hurt to have discussion with your doc and let him/her know you are very aware of the "serious risks" involved with an elevated Hct and that you agree to monitor and keep it below 50 for the duration of your TRT. This lets them off the hook for liability for the most part and you can stay constant on the TRT. I would lay out a plan of how you get labs every so many weeks and have donations scheduled, etc. It is just a CYA thing on the doc's part and they are also trying to look out for you.

Thanks again for the help fellas!

Just re-completed blood labs Friday, after my double blood donation. Below are the changes. These are all the result of donating blood, NAC, fish oil, RYR, and stopping my cycle.

Really nice response in that time. LFTs are trending down, HDL trending up, HCT looks good. I would continue with your regimen and avoid AAS for now, can't remember what your plan was immediately.
