day 32 - 199.5lbs
Ribs are a little better each day. The leg workout yesterday has me a little sore. decided to do the same thing on shoulders and tri's this morning. drop the weight 20%-30%and concentrate on slow reps with perfect form in the 10-12 range.
Diet is getting back in line. My appetite is actually better than it was before I got hurt. Its getting easier to hit the macros and calories and I don't stress about it as much.
Gear seems to be working. Good appetite, good libido, gaining weight slowly but consistently, a little aggression, but no "roid rage " issues. Looking thicker in the mirror.

Day 34
Went back to the chiropractor yesterday. Got adjusted again. This time made a big difference. I'm back to almost 90%. A little pain with really deep breaths, but that's about it.
Took the day off from lifting. Feel really big today. Feels like the test is working. Delts coming along nicely. Gained some fat Around the middle, but I'm bulking so I'm not going to stress too much unless it starts getting out of hand. The clothes that fit at Christmas are now too small.
Pinned test yesterday afternoon. I can do it myself, but if I have a knowledgeable and experienced person to do it, I prefer that route. Almost eliminates PIP.

Day 37 - 201.5lbs
Pinned HCG yesterday and test-e after workout this morning. Stane still at 12.5mg X2/day. NAC at 600mg X 2/day. Absolutely no sign of any estrogen-related sides.
Did chest and biceps today. Followed the Dorian Yates Blood and Guts video but substituted Pec Deck for flys. Injury is still an issue and I haven't done chest in a couple of weeks, so I backed off the weight and intensity a bit. Pain was moderate, but I didn't feel like I was tearing anything up, so I kept going. Its more like the pressure in my chest causing the pain rather than using the muscles.
Starting to get regular comments about getting bigger. Guy at the convenience store hadn't seen me in a couple of weeks and commented. Stuff that fit me at Christmas is now too tight to get by with. I squeezed into it for a while, but now it just looks stupid. Definitely going to have to buy some clothes this weekend.
Diet has been good most weeks, but I will admit that I slip on the weekends. For some reason, I totally lost my motivation on Saturday and didn't really get it back until I was in the gym this morning. Fortunately, I bought plenty of food and cooked yesterday, so I have enough good stuff to last the week.

Day 38 - 200lbs.
Killed legs today. Felt strong. Quad felt like it was gonna explode from PIP and ribs hurt like a bitch, but I worked through it.
Standing calf raise
Smith machine calf raise
Squats
leg press
hamstring curl
leg extension
Basically crawled out of the gym, but felt good. Legs are definitely growing. I have long legs, so they have always looked skinny. I'm definitely seeing improvement and have made them a priority. I might miss a day here or there, but I never miss leg day. It hurts the most, but is the most rewarding.

thanks, jimmy! I'm training hard and eating good, so its going to pay off. The injury set me back a couple of weeks, but I seem to be improving gradually. Fortunately, it doesn't seem to get any worse with exercise, it just hurts like hell. Holding a deep breath under pressure feels like getting stabbed in the chest.
Thanks for the motivation, bro.

Also very excited to see you back in the game! After my previous post about halting the cycle, I realized that as far as muscle tissue goes, it might be more beneficial to continue the cycle to benefit your recovery... That might be off... but anyway, I enjoy your posts.
How have your strength gains been so far?

the strength gains were pretty significant, but a little hard to quantify. Up until the cycle, I had been doing a lot of heavy compound exercises (squat, deadlift, weighted pullup, bench, etc) in the 4-6 rep range. About 10 days into the cycle, I started HIT training, which was a prety significant departure. My lifts were increasing pretty drastically each week, but some of it probably had to do with getting used to the new lifts and reps. Hard to say how much was attributable to gear and how much to nutrition and getting used to the training. Now, with the injury, I've had to cut back on weight and find some work-arounds. I would be disappointed, but this 12-week cycle was all about mass and hypertrophy, so any added strength was just a side benefit anyway.

Day 39
Was supposed to do cardio and abs today, but slept in and took a day off. Feel pretty "beat up" from chest monday and legs yesterday. Ribs hurt, chest is sore, legs still kind of dead, energy sort of low. In order to get the most from HIT, I think you really need to bring it. If you aren't able to go all out, you might as well recover, within reason.
Feeling pretty big. Biceps are growing, which is a new one for me. Definitely adding some fat, but its within a tolerable range.
My dog was dead in the road when I left for work, which probably would have screwed up my workout anyway. Good thing I rested.

Day 40 - 202lbs
Up about 12lbs in 40 days. 12 was sort of a goal for the whole cycle, so I'm pretty pleased there. Assuming I can add another 6-8 cleanly through the second half of the cycle, it will definitely beat my most hopeful expectations.
Did delts and triceps today. The intensity is coming back post-injury. My chest still hurts like a bitch, but while I'm lifting, its more of an annoyance than something that holds me back. I should be close to 100% next week. Went to failure, but not really past it today except a couple of drop sets. The only person in the gym was a cute girl and I didn't want to give the wrong impression (or start an annoying conversation) by asking for a spot.
Pinned hcg last night and doing test-e today. Ancillaries remain the same. Diet is good. Probably need to look at cleaning it up a bit. Lots of protein is coming from less-than-lean beef. Probably gonna try to cook up several servings of Jim230027's boring 6oz chicken / brown rice / broccolli combo meals for next week and really start counting macro's . Diet is the key; and I've gotten lazy, or at least sloppy. I still eat till it hurts every 2-3 hours.
Need to get my order in for some blood work toward the end of next week.

Thanks, Jimmy! I figure if I can keep 12-14 through PCT and 8-10 after a cut in July / August, I've more than accomplished my goal.
How's your cycle coming? Been missing your posts. They always motivate me.

Day 44 - 203lbs
A pretty good weekend. Did back on Saturday and Chest / biceps this morning. Still dealing with the injury, but it continues to get a little better every day. The fact that it isn't 100% is frustrating, but I just have to work through what I can and work around it if it is too bad.
Diet sucked over the weekend, but I did a lot of cooking and have a ton of healthy stuff for this week.
No huge complaints about the gear. Its not a magic pill. I think it is helping, but a lot of my gains have come from lifting hard and eating right. No side effects that I can feel.
Blood work on Wednesday.

day 45 - 201.5lbs
Weight inches up a little each week. Probably a little dehydrated this morning. Not much point in weighing myself every day, but figured it would show how you don't just wake up bigger each and every morning. sometimes you jump up 3 or 4 lbs only to lose a couple the next day. As long as the progress is stead, I'm good with it.
Kicked ass on my leg workout today. My calves have always sucked, so I'm giving them a little extra attention and doing them first. It seems to be working. My legs will never be huge - I'm just not built that way. On the other hand, it is a challenge to bring them along. Leg day is one of my favorites.
Blood work tomorrow. It should be interesting to see where we are on things. I suspect my gear is underdosed and that my T levels will show it. Its not that I haven't made progress, because I have. The thing is that my diet has been overall pretty damn good and my lifting has been really consistent (if held back a little due to injury), and my progress has been pretty slow. I remember cycling test as at 21 or 22. Even though I had no idea what I was doing, I feel like the gains were more astonishing than they are this time around. Guess we'll know a little more my the end of the week.

thanks, jimmy. always great to hear from you. i think i need to work on my patience most of all. after 6 weeks of forcing myself to eat like a moose and getting up as the ass crack of dawn to lift hard - real hard - 5 or 6 days a week, i'm expecting more "magic" from the test than i should. i mean, i've lifted for years and worked on my diet for quite a while; but i feel like i've been kicking it in the ass and overcoming a lot of impediments and i'm wanting to be blown away.

Day 46
Not much to report. Took the morning off to do blood work. Probably needed a rest day after doing legs yesterday. Still, I feel a little guilty about not getting to the gym. The rib pain is mostly gone from my chest but still quite noticeable in the middle of my upper back. Feel pretty big today, but must not look it. Nobody has said anything.
No noticeable sides except that my piss stinks. Of course, this may have as much to do with my eating 3X my normal amount of protein and taking NAC and liquid stane as it does with the gear itself.
Looking forward to blood test results - and to my delt and tricep workout tomorrow.

Blood work came back good. Triglycerides and T3 uptake were slightly high, but not badly out of range. Serum test was over 1,500ng/dL and free test was over 50pg/ml. My gear may be underdosed, but obviously not completely bogus. Estroidal, sensitive was 45 (normal is 3-70pg/mL, so the stane seems to be keeping that under control. Everything else on the CBS, Metabolic Panel and lipid panel were easily within range. Pretty pleased about the results.

Day 52 - 203.5lbs
Chest and biceps. Pretty good workout, but didn't have a spotter. Its hard to bring the intensity I want without a spot.
Pinned the quad. My whole body hates pinning quads since I hit that nerve. Muscles tense up, hands get shaky, etc. Gotta man up and calm down about that.
Feeling big today. Clothes don't fit for shit any more.

Just seen u were running 500 test. I've seen #s as high as 5k on just 500mg. I would think it would be at least 2000 but hey if you are growing then what the hell right? Great job btw on your gains

thanks, chad. the blood test only reported that it was over 1,500; so I'm not sure how much over that it was. Didn't know when I ordered the blood work that it wouldn't give an exact number. My pre-cycle work gave an exact figure, but not this one. I may have to see about a different testing facility in the future.

Day 53 - 203.5lbs
Good leg day. Started with calves. Loaded more than I thought I could do and still didn't fail at 12 reps. Squats sucked. didn't go deep enough. The princess interrupted me in the middle of the working set. I got pissed and killed the rest of the workout. Leg press was up 20lbs and got 1 more rep than last time. Leg curls and extensions beyond failure with some great negatives. Crawled out of the gym.
Trying to eat good. I have a lot of stuff I like. It makes it feel like less of a chore to eat. Appetite is good. Libido is good. No sides.
I'll be surprised if I'm not a couple of lbs heavier in 7 days. Diet and workouts are going well.

Nice Update. Sounds like things are progressing well bro. I hate getting interrupted especially doing legs. They take all your focus I think. Seems like you pulled it out and finished strong though.
Keep up the good work man!

Day 55 - 202lbs
Lost a couple of pounds. Not sure how. Diet has been good and I look a little bigger.
Got really tied up and forgot my monday a.m. pin. Ended up doing it Tuesday a.m. That moved my Thurdays p.m. pin to this morning. I'll be back on track monday. Quad pins are getting easier. I found a spot that seems to work.
I'm going to call myself 100% recovered from the rib injury. I can still feel it sometimes, but it does not hamper my lifting at all now. It was a long month recovering from what I would normally think is minor.
Did delts and triceps today. Every workout has one or more personal bests and today was no exception. I usually feel a little pissed - like I could have done more if I would have just sucked it up. strange since every working set is to failure. Its almost like i need to fail at 5, do a forced rep with a spot, drop and fail at 3 with another forced set and drop set. I want to feel totally wasted after every working set, but not sure how to do it and (a) avoid injury (b) leave something in the tank for the rest of the workout. Practice makes perfect, I guess.
Got to get some work done at the office.

Day 60 - 205lbs
Took the day off. Felt pretty beat up after chest+biceps on monday and legs on tuesday. Those were the two best back-to-back workouts since I started this cycle. Lots of personal bests. Really starting to move some heavy weights. Haven't lifted this heavy since college.
I could tell the gear was working for some time now, but this is the first week I have started feeling really thick. I feel a lot of new muscle through my back, shoulders and quads.
Nutrition is a constant struggle, but it really makes a difference. A lot of times, I don't feel like eating; but I have to force myself. I'm not sure where I'll find the motivation when I'm not on gear. I really think that nutrition is most people's downfall. It's easy to get in the gym and throw some weights around for an hour. Its really hard to eat smart 6+ time a day when you aren't hungry.
Looks like I'm gonna run out of gear a little early. Cycle will probably end up being 10 1/2 or 11 weeks. No big deal. Just means I start PCT early, recover early, and can do my next cycle sooner. I have plenty of test in my new batch, but not gonna invade that until september.

Day 62 - 204.5
Did NOT want to get out of bed and hit the gym this morning. Made myself get up and go. Very glad I did. Another good workout. Getting ready for shoulder press, I looked at those big ass dumbells and wondered if I could even lift them once. Got 9 with a forced rep. Shoulders and elbows are feeling really beat up. Thinking that adding some deca in future cycles might help.
Nutrition has been good this week. Calories are up and I'm really pushing the protein. Looking a little fat - especially at night. I can live with it. I'm supposed to be bulking and I don't want to miss out on adding mass just because I'm worried about gaining a few pounds of fat. It will come off slowly over the summer.
Looks like I'l probably run out of test at the end of next week or beginning of the following one. No huge deal. I'm not gonna invade my stash and have a 1/10 empty vile hanging around for months. I'll just start PCT sooner and recover quicker. Its been a good cycle.

Day 63
Lots to do this morning. Walked in the gym at 6:45. Wasn't feeling it. Turned around and went to work. No sense trying to lift if you're just going through the motions. I'll get my mind right and hit it this afternoon.
Pinned 250mg test. Running real low.

Not sure. I got up on time, ate, took the dog out, gathered my stuff for the day, etc. A lot of times, I wake up and am not really in the mood, but by the time I get to the gym, I get my mind right and have a good workout. This time, I walked in and just knew I wasn't going to go 100%. Turned out OK. Went to work and got stuff done and hit the gym at 4:00. Had a good workout.

Day 67 - 204.5lbs
Ran out of test yesterday. 67 days isn't enough. If it had been 75-80 days, I'd just deal, but 9 weeks isn't gonna cut it. I'll break into my next cycle stash. I bought more than enough anyway.
Schedule was screwed up this week, but still managed 3 good workouts. Today was back. Didn't kill it, but did a good job. Really worked on form, but still kept the weights up. T-bar rows felt especially good.
The screwed-up schedule impacted diet more than workouts. Its hard to eat enough of the right stuff when you are on the road. Fortunately it only happens to me 4 or 5 weeks out of the year.
Everything stays the same as far as gear. Same dosage. No sides. Libido is up, but not through the roof. No emotional crap, no gyno, no acne, no water retention. Stane seems to be doing its job. Will definitely stay with 12.5-15.0 twice a day next cycle. I highly recommend Jimmyinkedup's thread on the subject.

04-11-2014, 08:00 PM #75
Well it looks like you are up 14lbs so I imagine you must be pretty happy with that so far. The reason I asked was because you seem to have the whole "not feeling it" mood a lot for someone on cycle. I am not criticizing you so don't take it the wrong way, I just know that if your estrogen isn't balanced then lethargy comes along with it. I personally always feel motivated every workout when I am on cycle so I was just a little worried for you. But then again I do not know what your life is like, whether your home or work life wears you out or not. I just wanted to get your opinion on my thoughts but even with a little lethargy you are doing a good job.

estrogen seems to be under control - at least it was at 6 weeks when I did blood work. Stane at 12.5 twice a day is a little higher than a lot of guys run, but it seems to work for me.
I work out in the morning, so it can be hard to get motivated sometimes. I've tried working out in the afternoons, but work and family stuff have a much higher chance of screwing that up. I don't have many people competing for my time at 6:00 a.m. and there is nobody in the gym. The down side is that I have to get out of bed, eat, get all my crap done, get to the gym and get motivated in about 45 minutes.
The 14 lbs is cool, but I guess we always want more. If it was 30 lbs, I'd be disappointed that it wasn't 50.

Day 70 203.5lbs
Lost a little weight, but I've come to expect it after the weekend. I have to shop and cook and clean on Saturday and Sunday. My diet stays OK, but I don't get the calories I should.
Ran out of Test last week and decided to break into my next cycle stash. I'll just get more. Its from a good source (much better than the last - the lessons we learn). I'll have to say that this new test dosed at 250mg/ml is MUCH thinner and easier to deal with than the last that was 400mg/ml. Shot 1ml today and is was really easy.
Schedule was jacked up last week and caused me to miss delts and tris. My shoulders had been pretty painful since beginning HIT, and I think they needed a break. Hit the gym this morning and destroyed chest and bi's. I feel like I've grown in the last few hours. Of course, I haven't actually; but the workout was a huge motivator.
Going to really push these last two-four weeks to hammer my workouts and squeeze in a few extra calories every day. If I can add 6-8lbs over the next month, I think I greatly exceed my expectations. Then comes the fun of PCT and trying to hold the gains and resist the urge to cut until after I recover.

day 71 205lbs
really glad I decided to extend this cycle. Feeling really swole today. Some doms from yesterday's chest / bicep work. Killed legs today. Weight is up, motivation is up.
While this isn't my first cycle, I continue to learn a lot more about AAS and bodybuilding in general. My notebook on diet (including articles and notes on what works for me) continues to grow. My notebook on all things AAS is already huge. Reading the posts and stickies here has been very valuable. I thought my workouts were my strong point, but having an open mind and trying new techniques has really helped me make progress where I was plateaued for months before. It all lets me see where I went wrong in the past and gives me insight into what will work in the future - on and off cycle.
