Not at all, Girly! Your right, as you lift your metabolism will increase due to the overload your putting in your body...
Also he said mucle mass increase, as we get bigger we need more and more good to maintain our new tissue let alone add more .... Does that help

She is still loosing bf, just the scale numbers slowed a bit as she gains some initial muscle and water retention. I only ise the scale to monitor food intake and hydration. After a holiday weekend of bbq's and beers I am weighing in at 274 up from 268ish on friday. Her shape is changing for the better, in that she looks leaner even though there is not as much change on the scale. Once the initial water load is done, the weight will start to drop again, probably even quicker with the higher metabolism.

Yes, just 10mg/day, dropped her back from 20mg as suggested on here.

Yes, your weight may rise at first GGR/Bina, as said as long as bf is dropping(your muscle will always weigh more than fat)... And my weight went up and now I'm having a hard time keeping it, though I am leaning out a lil more, until your body adapts to new eating scheme you will likely fluctuate until it sets your metabolism free
I hate the f-in scale too!
-
Metabolism will not necessarily increase with training especially when in a caloric deficit.
-
True.... Which is why they're trying they're splits to see what will work...
However my metabolism has increased w/more eating(carbs especially) I guess that's a good thing - but I would think they re metabolism would slow at first then kick in w/more training/cardio - GGR/& Bina are no longer in such a deficit either...
I do agree w/your statement that it doesn't work for everyone....

How's it going?

It has been busy with the school year coming close to an end.
I completed 6 workouts this week. All with active rest between sets. I have never seated so much in my life.
Mon- chest, tri, abs
Tues- shoulder, leg, calves,
wed- back, trap, bi
Thur- chest, tri, abs
Fri- jogged/walked 2 miles I have a relay race I am in this coming Saturday...I have two 3 mile legs...hopefully I can complete
sat- back, trap, bi
I did my first week of cab cycling. By the end of Friday...3rd low carb day...I was so hungry and felt lethargic throughout the day. However, Saturday morning I woke up and my stomach was so flat and I felt great as far as stomach bloat and such!
Yesterday was my high carb day and a date night with my hubby. I went a little too much I think. I had 1.5 fish tacos, 8 little jojos, 1 fish stick, 2 cheese sticks. I was DONE. The server asked if we wanted dessert. NO!!!! Next thing I know she gives us this amazing carrot cake FREE! so nice of her but I ate half of it. Luckily I had at low carbs throughout the day knowing I had the date night.
On a positive my weigh in this week said I weighed 139 (I seem to stay here no matter what!) and my hand held body fat thing said I lost .5% body fat. I am just happy it budged. I am going to try another week at carb cycling next week and see how it goes. My husband suggested I go get green tea capsules to use during my afternoon when I feel like falling asleep.

Awesome week for you. I may have to give this carb cycling a whirl. I haven't ever tried. You are making me want to!
-
Bina, remember it takes a lil time for your body to really adapt to depleting your glycogen stores( 3 low) w/that one high day you'll fill back out(muscles fuller etc) then back to 3low so your body has made some adjustments already - try it for another couple wks and increase cardio when can(probably moreso after your high day)...
How's everything else going?

I'm on a low carb day today. I still have a half cup of berries after my workout because I need to love at least one meal a day.

I know!! I'm afraid of skin cancer! Does a spray tan count? I am up to try that. I've tanned before summer each year up until this year. I've seen so much about skin cancer recently that I decided not too. I am pasty though.
