As for getting everything out of it I expected...no. I thought I would have gained more strength. Not a big deal though...I would hate to just fall flat on my face when I come off, so huge short term strength increases are not that important. Of course, I should be singing a different tune when the var gets here.
As for what I would have done different...
Jump start with prop (can't go the dbol or drol route).
I blew the diet, and that really affected my gains. I was hoping to add 25 to 30 pounds, and I have no doubt that I would have done it if I had kept my diet on track. As it stands...I look to be 15-20 pounds heavier and around 3% leaner. That roughly translates into about 22-27 pounds of lbm gain...which is not shabby at all.
I would have also given some consideration to my wardrobe. I knew that I would be getting bigger, but I had no idea that it would drastically change the fit of my clothes. I have a Ralph Lauren Leather coat that I wore New Year's Eve...that I can't wear now. I have some really nice merino wool shirts that look like spandex now. I use to love Bananna Republic...now I can't fit into anything they make. They truly cater to the thinner and slimmer crowd. I have some expensive suits that don't fit anymore (but luckily I have an excellent tailor...maybe they can alter them to fit).
With the dbol...you need to start thinking ahead about your wardrobe as well!

You mentioned the wardrobe....I've got about a third of what you mentioned in hunting clothes alone that I won't be able to wear next year. My wife already hates Cabelas...looks like I will be giving her even more reason to hate them.
I don't ever plan on "being cut." I can't diet that effectively...and really have no need to get that shreaded. This means that I only need two sets of clothes instead of three...bulking and...not bulking. Realistically,I never expect to see anything under 10%...if that.

Fuk..I had a long post,but the server went down.And I refuse to rewrite it.
In short,you need to cut down bro to see how much muscle you put on.Not putting a hex on you,but you really should do it.Staying at 13-14% bf is hard to really tell.Those bf monitors aren't the most acturate things.I don't need to be cut either,but I want to see were my money and hard work went and need to know the results.
Anyway..clean up the diet and hit the weights hard..to complete failure every rep,that spurts growth bro.

I was looking over this again..I'm not convinced you'll put on 22-27#'s of muscle mass,especially since your diet was off.Not to say your bull crapping,but your cycle was short and you ran into other problems as well.I'd swallow 17-19 though respectively.And that's real nice gains..very respectable!!!

Thanks for answering my questions Swellin.....I guess we as human beings always expect more some times....I wish u would have run your diet alittle cleaner and more thorough, but I know u have learned a lot from this cycle and will use that to your advantage next time....I think your size gains are awesome and u should be happy with what u have gotten from this cycle.
I'm not real sure how y'all are getting the lean muscle numbers, but I am not watching the scales all that much(but with u adding weight and droppin bf at the same time things are going in the right direction, congrads)....I have learned this over the yrs of training...I am my own worst critic and when I can see size gains from wk to wk then something is going in the right direction....maybe I need to pay more attention to numbers as far as lean muscle mass goes, but if I look like I'm growing then I'm pretty sure I am, since I'm so hard on myself. Sorry for rambling on and on, as always good luck with the rest of your cycle and continue to give it hell in the gym.

As for the lean mass, that figure comes form your weight and your body fat. Multiply you bf by your weight, and that is how much lard you are carrying. Later check the new bf and weight...do the same thing again. You will see how many pounds of fat you have. If this number is constant or drops and you are gaining weight...you know it is quality weight.
DB, I have decided to cut down during this next 6-8 weeks. I will only be running prop and var. I will add in the clen /eca stcak. Unfortunately, the cardio equipment at my gym (the stationairy bike) is broken beyond repair. I know they won't buy a new one. The treadmill is such a piece of sh!t that it is far too dangerous to use. At least the weather is cooperating and I can start back playing tennis for cardio.
I don't plan on checking my bf again until after this cycle is over. We'll see what happens then.
What a feeling! The deca is all but gone from system. The test e is still there and I am running 75mg prop ed. I actually feel the test now. Judging by the way I feel, I might have to rethink my feelings about deca. The joint support was great...the rest of it was not!

Real short update here.....I just did my first trap injection. It feels very similar to the first bi injection I did...not too good. This sucks...but I think I will manage. I know the first one hurts the most...so we'll see.

I am not dissappointed with the results...moreso with my failures in the cycle. With the deca gone, I have dropped a couple of pounds...but it was just water.
We shall see how it goes after this next leg of my cycle.

Time for an update. My shoulder has been a constant problem...so, I worked legs last Monday...came in Tuesday...did three sets on bench and left. I took the rest of the week off.
Monday is leg day...a little something I learned on here (everyother gymbunny thinks it is chest day...this causes mass confusion when there are only two benches). Since I didn't work upper body last week, I did chest tonight. There were some idots in there slamming those 10lb weights on the bar...making tons of racket. Only to bench 165 for 6 reps with horrible form. Since I am one of about 3 folks in the gym that bench over 300 ...it was a bit of a spectacle.
I was really weak last time on chest, but tonight...my last set was 335 for a few reps...with perfect form...stopping for a full count on my chest...not yelling and acting like an idiot.
That was a good feeling.
My weight is down a bit...but I have changed my diet to coincide with my plans to lean out a bit. I am not holding any water, now that the deca is gone.
Prop is really different...it seems to take twice as much prop as it did of enan...just for me to feel like I am on.
Unfortunately, prop is feeding my addiction for injections. Now, I want to take one in the AM & one in the PM...looks like I am headed toward suspension.
Hopefully, the var will be here tomorrow. I started 1 gram of ALA & 1gram of Milk Thistle last Friday. I can't wait to get on this var.

The var delivery was slowed...some half ass delivery service was used.
Anyway, I am preparing my shot this morning...I draw everything up...run it under hot water for a 20 count...pull back on the plunger so I can change pins...there is water in the cap...I didn't put it on tight enough. So now, I have water in my shot. I think.....okay, I can just skeet this off the top and be good to go...all of a sudden...it hits me.......this is friggin tap water!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
So, I just shot $6.50 worth of BD prop into the sink. Now I'm pissed! I draw up another one and let it roll.
I go out to my laundry room to iron my clothes (spray them with some de-wrinlker and throw 'em in the drier)....what do I see......the delivery guy brought my var!
YIPPPPPPPPEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!
I sure hope this wasn't draino...I was so excited, I came right in and ate one.

Okay, there was a slight delay with the fina...but all is certainly well.
The var is working nicely. Everything, except for my bench, is moving up.
The new gym is awesome! In my old gym, there were only three members that could bench over 315. Today, there were three people with 315 on the bar.....at the same time...doing reps...I was one of them. I have changed my style, and every rep I perform is a powerlifting meet legal rep. So that looked a lot cooler than the other guys that were simply banging away.
My weight is up...I finally reached my mark of 230. This morning, I weighed a whopping 232. I will cut the calorie back a bit, once I start the tren . I will be checking my BF here in a little bit...so I will be able to tell how this stuff works for me.

I'm pretty close to 4k right now....I will probably drop back to 2800 and clean it up tremendously. Right now, I have alot of trash calories going in. I'll keep them until I start the tren ...then I will get nasty about this diet.
Currently, I am eating 6-10 chicken breasts a day. Some days, I add 6 hamburger steak patties. I also indulge the sweet tooth at the worst possible time...night. I have all but cut that out...it will stop this week.
I am bigger than those danm Milano cookies...who are they to tell me to eat them? I will not let them control me!
