thank you auslifta!
Well Ive given it a lot of thought and Im going to a couple places for consultations to get the tummy tuck to remove the excess skin. I really want to get it done around Febuary or so and be able to recover and get back to the gym to look lean as hell for the summer and possibly compete, atleast once. I just want to get on stage just to add to my accomplishments after this journey. Im tired of having this skin that just makes me feel fat and overweight.

Bro just got in on this thread....absolutely crazy results from natty training....you must be one self-disciplined SOB to keep on track for that long with that amount of weight to lose.
You definitely earned the surgery to complete the journey....but regardless great job.

thanks stitch...well when you got people making fun of you, it kinda builds up anger inside and i wanted to show people that i will look better than them after we graduate HS and when we have out re-union i will blow people away. I cant wait to see peoples faces who made fun of me for being overweight. Society is one cruel b*tch

here are some new pics of me during my bulk phase...in these pics I am 210 lbs!!
Weird how i dont look as fat at 210 as I did at 202 (pics with green shorts) when I first started dieting like this last October.

to be honest...i hate the way I look and feel. I felt so much better lean and mean...but this is the only way to increase LBM. Oh yea also take into consideration these pics are of me WITHOUT ANY CARDIO AT ALL! The pics of me at 202 in the green shorts - yea I was doing an hour of cardio and I still looked like that!

I just happened to come across this thread. First off, congrats on everything you've accomplished, man. Secondly, yes, society was a b*tch to all of us former fatties. Good luck with the rest of the bulk

Awesome Transformation!
I think we all hate putting on bodyfat during a bulk but there's no other way to move up the muscular ladder unless you can afford injecting 10 ius of GH every day. You'll look better than ever after you have the surgery, put the muscle mass back on and then cut up this summer!

thanks bros for all the great comments!
Ronnie, I cant thank you enough for all the help and information you have given me. You have inspired me to reach a new level of weight training and I hope after all the surgery and hard work after that I can compete, even if it is just one time just to show others what I have done and show them that anything is possible.

well this is it folks...Friday was my last day of training. I will be undergoing surgery to remove the excess skin from my abdomen. I will probably be out for 1 month with no cardio and 2 months with no lifting whatsoever. Its the first time i will be taking a break that long. I will try and keep you guys updated as far as recovery goes and all that.

i just had the surgery yesterday...i missed a whole day of eating i only got 1 meal in but im doin much better today and eating all my meals.
im sore and in a little bit of pain but other than that i thought it would be much worse. im able to walk on my own power which is a plus just having trouble standing straight up. im drinking of fluids and just relaxing...

its so hard when something so simple as a cough is the most difficult thing to do cus you use your abs/core for everything!
i went to the doctor today and he said everything is looking great! he also said that he will remove the hospitals bandaging and give me a girdle like thing to wear. He said i can shower tomorrow which is a plus but sleeping is a b*@#h cus i have to sleep in a chair (not laying down).

I just finished reading your log and Wow! What a trasformation great job! Glad you elected to do the surgery and am really looking forward to those after pics real soon. I hope you are recovering nicely.
I also have extra skin from being 40lbs over weight and it really sucks! It's been 6yrs since overweight. I'm lean everywhere else, even vascular, but that damn midsection! If you don't mind me asking, how much did surgery set you back?
Cheers!Last edited by ecto9; 02-14-2008 at 12:35 PM.

hey ecto the doctors fee was $6000 plus the OR and anesthesiologist set me back another $3300...so $9300 total but i believe its worth it especially if you are in it for the long haul.
im getting better each day and im able to stand straighter. Pain is getting less and less and all i have to wait for is the removal of the drainage tubes (Wednesday) and by then i should be able to go about my normal day.
As far as exercise...well i need a month or so until i can start cardio and about 2 months until i can lift again.
