off season fat polar bear, compared to 4 weeks out
what's up guys i've been on the board for years now, i am currently 4 weeks out from my first show of the season, competiting in men's physique tall class..i thought i would post an interesting set of comparison pics so you can see the difference between off season vs dieting..really the only difference here is food..the recent pictured was 9 point calipered at 5.5% bodyfat, and the fat-ish looking picture was only back in late april and i tried to do similar poses for comparison sake..enjoy!

Nice job. I can't wait to trim down. Pecs look like they gained muscle but the traps look a lil smaller and the shoulders. Might be just me though

Nice, 200 pounds seems like a damn good weight. When I start losing my fatness 200 sounds like a good attainable number.

legs are huge and vascular, calves are great (genetics)..i am competing in men's physique so i am less stressed with quad striations and such..but i may transition to bodybuilding so i keep them up to par

I don't really have a target, i want to look the best i can possibly look and the rest is up to the judges..men's physique is insanely subjective..i've seen guys getting docked points for looking too muscular or too learn or some other BS..my goal is to come in knowing i got in the best conditioning i could..i guess originally my target was 6% bodyfat but now that i'm 3 weeks out i've already well surpassed that goal
