Just joined the forum recently and I'm still losing weight, down from 240 to 186! Need to lose a couple more percent body fat but then I'll be trying to put on some muscle at 46. Hope I can find a source and do this sensibly but like you I would like to use in moderation. Thanks for sharing your story.

I'm at the beggining of where you were. i'm suprised that doctors do not diagnose this earlier. I complained of the same symtoms that included major night sweats and fatigue for five years. I became type two diabetic and my doctor never once suggested HRT. I finally saw a commercail and forced him to test me, I came back at 147 (total T). I'm 44 and just started. I'm on T cyp. Had I known about this I would have been tested sooner and maybe would have prolonged the on-set of Diabetes. I certainelly would not have struggled with the thought of old age, mood swings and the possability of an early death. I feel great now and I'm on my way back.

Excellent post. I really enjoyed your post and will pass it on to others.

Have you considered taking Cyp or enthenate between cycles? Just to maintane?

thanks for the post man. seriously. i'm presently 37 and was starting to feel i was at the end of the line. I am now in my first and probably most important cycle of

champix - 12 weeks. hopefully i don't make too many gains (<-- that's humour) and then the next step. its important for guys to know there is a solution for every problem. especially at that critical age when many choose to give up because they do not know of other options.

I love the part i will never have a six pack, i am like this too, but if i can build something good without a stomach ugly gut. I feel that 40 is the best to start steroids .

LOL at 7% BF I wasn't hitting abs hard enough to get protruding muscle for the "real" 6 pack. Lack of gut/fat is our new goal!

Wow. Thanks for this post. I'm going to begin my second cycle soon. I'm still seeking advice as my first round was successful but I have so much to learn. Thanks for being open.

Well since the last source i got bogus trendbolone at 150$ that i threw away i guess i will stick with test E cycle for 8-10 weeks at a time. But yes i do feel that steroids make a huge difference for someone 40 year old, recuperation and more.

Well, It looks like all hope is not lost for me. At 65, just entering the world of AS with TRT as a kick start. I have pretty much the same history of off and on lifting and I am amazed at the gains I have made just in two months on Test alone. In a few months, I hope I can post as inspiring a post as this one that will last another ten years and get a bunch of old folks back in the gym. Yippie Kiyea for old folks!

Great post. Similar story line here. I would bulk up while in garrison and trim down for endurance when deployed. Now retired and working as a civilian I want to build again. I am 42 and preparing for my first cycle. I have a similar philosophy that if I build more muscle it will be easier to shed more fat.

Hi everyone. Great stories. I'm 45 509, 220lbs and feel great. I been working out, off and on for years. I'm seriously considering my first cycle, just don't know where to go online. all those companies look fake. oh well, guess I'm stuck with Dymatize.

Great thread. Just finished my first cycle(if you want to call it that). I don't particularly like messing with my body so went low dose. 200mg test cyp/wk. .5cc sun and thurs. for 10 wks. I can personally echo all of the original post. Feel great. Would do it again.

I'll be 52 when I run my first cycle and if I achieve half of what the OP did then I will consider it very successful.

The gel does work however 10gm is more like the dose. We use 50gm packets. Now we absorb 10% so you get 5mg in he blood. Then the 2 packs would give us 10mg which is what the testes normally make. I would go to injections then you have more control and more wood.

Nothing yet... I still feel like hell in the morning.... I go back in a month , gonna suggest to the DOC to start the shots,, or at the least up the GEL to 10g. If anyone is thinking about going to thier DR for HRT>. Read up and study before you go... Most docs do not know enough about HRT to help at first. I have been some what Lucky as TNT pointed me to a study that was done, so I took it with me to the DOC, and he acutally asked if he could have a copy of it..

Just some stats for the Brothers..

    Just turned 30 in March

236-240, down from 255 in Jan.
    Cardio 4 times week
diet stays clean, and lifting 3 days week, only basic movements.

As a 58 year old I know the benefits and love your post. Even here where steroids are legal doctors know very little. As my ex wife was a pharmacist I would suggest that most doctors know a lot less about medicines than they should. Worldwide)

Lucky we have some people here who are experienced and well informed. My own doctor in Bangkok claims to specialise in HRT but cannot even tell me the different types of Testosterone . Let alone what damage they can do. He just says too much not good!

Sorry to admit all my knowledge comes from some books, sites like this and experience.

Before when I lived in Australia we would never even talk about what we used.

I have seen some very impressive bodybuilders that live here, some I know still compete, I've yet to meet one in a pharmacy and I guess they are like me. My life and what I do is my choice and I would not discuss it with strangers.

I just want to know if I can be stronger at 70 than now!

Enjoy life, love training and grow stronger. John

did my first cycle at 51, im 53 in December. Ive used myself as a test subject trying everything from tren ace to clen . Ive learned alot and know what and how to take these amazing compounds to get max results. Ist and foremost is have a long term goal or projected vision of what you want your body to look like. Steroids have changed my life for the better in everyway possible. I have woman 20 years younger hitting on me and Im constantly being eye balled by females. Feels great

I was just wondering what's going on with this dude, Ayax.
Because this post is 11 years old, and almost every other post of him was made back in 2002. So, hopefully he's ok today. Ajaaaaax, come out and play!

I know this is a old post, but wish these guys that think you have to be low BF and young to get on a cycle can read this and learn something from it. I always said that no matter what your BF% is AS can benefit you, as long as you eat and train hard and correct.

    Great post!!

Wonder where is all the guys now, that is always preaching that you have to be low bf before starting a cycle, here is the proof in this great post that it aint true, specialy for us older guys.

I think they all preach that you will obtain a lot better results with lower bodyfat and it will have a lot less health risks. Nobody should ever encourage something that is less beneficial. That would just be purely irresponsible.
