Recovery from 2-year blast and cruise?

    History here:
    https://forums.steroid.com/new-male-...ew-canada.html

    TL;DR... Cliffs:
    - 35yrs old, 6'1, 225lbs
    - Best lifts were SQ 385, BP 295, DL 405.
    - Never used gear before, despite being told to go on if I wanted to make any more progress. I planned on going on after my next PL meet but didn't end up going on because I messed myself up real good during the meet and never recovered fully.
    - Riddled with injuries, but determined to keep at it.
    - Committed to doing a bodybuilding contest in 2020 with a long time lifting buddy.
    - Been reading lots and discussing gear with my lifting buddies. Have a good source too. You only live once, so I want to give it a shot.

2 and a half years to the contest. Straight up cycles gives me 4 good cycles. 18 weeks on (12+PCT), 18 off, etc, 4th cycle being the contest cycle, final PCT starts the week after the contest. By all accounts I should fully recover using this method, but apparently gains are limited doing cycles and the emotional swing is massive (which may not be good for me as I already have some depression/anxiety issues).

The other option seems to be to blast and cruise my way there. However, from what I've read so far it seems like the consensus is that B&C = TRT for life. Any chance of a successful PCT after a 2 year B&C?

I'm not planning on going insane on dosages.
    - 500mg Test with HCG and an AI. Clomid and Nolva for PCT (if doing cycles)
    - 150mg-200mg with an AI, HCG as needed (if cruising).
    - Maybe adding Deca and Var in future cycles/blasts. Thinking primo, halo, and var for the contest cycle.

Talked to my doc and she trusts my judgement and is up for writing scripts for bloods as often as I need. Plan to get bloods before starting, during cycles/blasts, 2 weeks after each PCT (or mid-cruise), and again after it is all over. Will probably be in here often for help with conclusions regarding some of the blood work.

Sorry for all the writing. I see a trend of certain questions being asked to every poster and am trying to answer as many questions ahead of time as I can.

Again, TL;DR... Cliffs = "Any chance of a successful PCT after a 2 year B&C?"

I would not B&C for two years unless your are ready to commit to TRT just in case.
There's always a chance for a successful pct. You just don't know until you try.
BW should be about 8 weeks post pct, not two as you're still hyperstimulated from serms and not at absolute homeostatis.

Appreciate the comment and note about BW timing.

Here's a weird one... A buddy of mine is suggesting I go on Clomid and Nolva, even though I've never cycled anything before. He thinks based on my life-long lifting progress and physique that I have low test, and the solution is Clomid & Nolva. Not TRT?

Getting blood work soon anyways, so I guess we'll know in a few weeks.

I'm no expert, but I've destroyed the search engines on the usual forums and never seen that kind of suggestion (except post-cycle). Any thoughts on that?

To be honest with you bro, if you are healthy and happy, I would stay away from steroids . You’ll have the best two years of your life but the aftermath will be very dark. If I knew what I know today, I probably wouldn’t of touched the stuff.

Clomid by itself is a form of TRT that is used more for younger people concerned with fertility. Nolva is a serm that works similarly to clomid. Put them together and you have an effective pct protocol.
You need full blood work before you embark on anything.

No matter... Looks like I won't be cycling any time soon anyways... My "normal" T levels are apparently that of a 100+ year old man.
