We aren't worried about it but it's just strange that you have so much pent up anger against gay/lesbians. Someone that comes off like that most likely has issues with it in themselves. There really is no reason to hate someone for who they like

I know 2 identical twins in Germany. One is the biggest flamer ever and the other one is straight as can be. so i dont know what to believe. either the straight dude is gay or the gay dude made a choice. and i know in germany they support gays. that one flamer dude grabbed my ass when i first met him so i pushed him and was labeled as the violent American Gay Hater. Didnt help that they knew i was in the Marines. dont know where that short story came from.
if that waffle dude was banned for not liking gays why do we have a gay smiley?????????????/ just a thought. not trying to be offensive or anything.

Just because they are twins doesn't mean they are identical mentally. If one was attracted to skinny girls and the other like fatties would you say one was lying?

Identical twins don't have the same personality. They might look somewhat the same but It rediculous to think that they are identical clones of each other

Or they are both bisexual and one dates women and the other men. I have an identical twin brother who is straight. I asked him if he is attracted to guys. He said he thought about it and it is not for him.

I was just re-reading through the thread. I really got into this thread, haha

Like everyone said, I always knew. I would look at guys all the time and make comments to myself. I grew up with a semi tough crowd growing up by the city. Being gay around us only got you one thing, beat up which is why I was scared to act on my feelings. Time went on and I dated plenty of women. When I was younger getting women was so easy. I would always have a g/f around just to fit in and be able to double date with my buddies. I found myself looking at gay porn while in a relationship with a women (like a lot of “straight” guys do) and I was asking myself what the hell I was doing. Time went on and I finally got up enough nerve to go online and meet a guy. I couldn’t go to a gay club for fear for being caught. So I met a guy that lived close to be and even went to my HS. We talked for a while online before we met. Then the day came, where I told myself I would finally find out for sure if I was gay and we set a date up. I remember just walking beside him together and thinking in my head, I wonder if that person (at the mall) can tell we are gay. Man I was such a nervous wreck at first and he could tell. He was already out to everyone and he walked me through it. Well I remember that night we ended up hanging out at the playground and just talking. He asked me if I wanted to go and I just said yes even though I really didn’t want this night to end. I was still looking for some kind of hint that I was really gay. Well I remember us walking to the car like it was yesterday. Each step we took toward to car I just want to grab him and say stop! I need to know. Then he stops and turns to me. He says, have you ever kissed a guy before? I said no in a very shy manner. He turned away and we started walking towards the car again. Then stops, turns to me and lays a big kiss on me. I didn’t even think it was real while it was happening. It was as if there wasn’t another man there but just a female like I have always had before. But then I could feel his tight grip on me and feel his goatee rubbing against my face, I was in heaven! I know from that moment on I was gay.

That’s my story and I am sticking to it.
Now let me try and sum up these question a lot quicker.

When did you "know" you were gay?
I answered that one

Did your family approve?
At first, No. They thought I was just confused and showed no interest in meeting my b/f at the time which made me depressed. It somehow made me feel as though I made a mistake and was being punished.

Do you feel you are treated differently?
Yes, I feel more people are open to me know. I have had a lot of girl …….FRIENDS ( haha) tell me about their relationship problems and not once feel as though they would be judged. Most girls find it “cool.” On the flip side most “macho” guys find it disgusting which I could care less. Its my life and I will do as I please.

What do you see as a stereotype by other straight or even gay friends or public?
Most straight men think that I am going to jump their bones just because their male. Well I am sure I would hurt 99 percent of their feelings when I tell them I love them as a friend but am repulsed thinking of them sexually in any way. They are my friends and that’s it!


Now that’s not my entire life story. After meeting my b/f we spent 2 years together. One year of which we lived together happily. What broke us up? The pressure. At the time I felt like I was an outcast because I could only tell about 3 people (mostly girls) in fear of getting my ass kicked. I would have to sneak around all the time and make sure that people didn’t always see us together. It was starting to make me paranoid. Then on top of that I felt that I had let my family down. That was the hardest thing I ever had to deal with. For the first time in my life I felt like the people that would never look down on you, never disown you no matter what had done just that. I hit a all time low. I broke up with him and moved back home. I then got over my depression and moved on. I found a girl to date and I dated her for 3 years. I know you are scratching your head right now but yes I dated her so that I could be fully accepted and loved again among my family. Pretty messed up huh? Well we finally broke up, not surprising and I was so unhappy that I said F**** THIS and SCREW EVERYONE. I was no longer going to spend one more second living my life for other people. Then I starting coming out to people. I stopped hanging about 90 percent of my friends and surrounded myself with people who accepted me for ME ! I met anther wonderful guy and we been dating for 3 months now. I have been to his house and met his family and they are very accepting. About a month or two ago I came out to my family, AGAIN. They were very accepting of it. They told me that I was so young the first time they thought I was a phase. Now they knew it wasn’t. My mom told me she LOVE ME NOT MATTER WHAT and at that moment I just wanted to burst out on tears. Them 3 words that I been waiting years to hear finally came out and she hugged me. So now the entire family knows and all my close friends. I never been so happy in my life. Took me years to get to where I am now but it was all worth it. Was it hard ? Yes. Should it be that hard for others ? No. There were times where I wanted to just end it all and I don’t even want to go back to that time in my life. I try to stay as positive about life as I can and embrace it. I now look at myself as a mature adult and walk around with me head up and a smile.

Kind of ironic but my boyfriend just left from having dinner at my house with my family

It was.

It was also nice because there are lots of people that are afraid to come out. When they read stuff like this and say to themselves "I feel the same way," it makes them feel a little more at ease with who they are. I know first hand that being in that limbo stage is really hard. If i helped one guy with this post then it was well worth it.

If i didn't help anyone then im pissed because that was a lot of typing
