    Do you take the occasional break for a week or maybe more? It helped me here recently. Yeah I lost a little bit but when I came back I was shocked how quickly I was able to bounce back and then break through my peaks. I would recommend to still try to enjoy life during the offseason but when it comes contest time to be a complete hobbit.

    i hated taking off the past three days. but life happened and had obligations. but i notice also that i sometimes need longer recovery between workouts and i usually feel stronger after the occasional longer break
