when you take in a breath, the rib cage expands, stretching the intercostal (between the ribs) structures, so that's usually the thing.

the diaphragm compresses and flattens, sometimes compressing gas-distended bowel which can give referred pain to the chest.

the toughest part is finding the motivation...when nobody's making me work I have a tendency to fvck off or do something more fun. It took me awhile to figure out the pattern but after that it's just about doing the work. Don't forget to put down tile backer or cement board. My ears are still ringing from the tile saw, I didn't wear ear protection.

i sometimes do stupd sh1t like that-- working in my garage with some big machine and dont put the ear or eye protection. but a year ago a tiny speck of metal landed in my eye and had to get it picked out, so i'm less cavalier with the eye protection. but i dont want to go deaf either.

I heard a story of a guy splaying open his ball bag cause he was using a peice of heavy equipment to masturbate. I guess the vibration was just the right frequency. His ball bag was too close to a part of the machine that had moving parts.
