I have to say, before reading this thread, I've always thought of myself as totally pro-gun control and against recreational weapons as a rule (hunting r***es being an exception). There are a lot of good points about why guns should be allowed to be concealed and carried. I live in Canada, and I guess I've always thought guns weren't as big of an issue here, but there are shootings here in Vancouver seemingly regularly now (they're usually gang-related). I guess I just see guns as kind of a snowball issue. The more guns there are in the population, the more there need to be guns for protection and it just gets outta control. I mostly just think it's sad that anybody would need a gun to protect themself/their family. If, however, I felt that I lived somewhere that it was a necessity to protect myself, I wouldn't hesitate and would want the option.

Wow, thats big. A few years ago I shot a 200lb buck and my dad said it was the biggest deer he had seen in 40 years of hunting.
