^^ I know man, its just crazy people think like this,. I just dont understand some people, this chap in my gym asked me how id done so well this year on gaining size. The next day i had a copy of my diet to show him and he was in COMPLETE shock how much i eat.

He told me he didn't realize it was that important and then went on to tell me he was focusing on chest exercises, he told me his friend is really into training and knows his stuff then when he told me he is training his chest 3 times a week i nearly cried. His friend had ZERO clue and was educating his mate on his stupid routines.

I just laughed and had to carry on with my sets.

5' 8" when I was in my 20s I THOUGHT I could not get over 160 lbs MAX. I worked out 5-6 days a week 1 1/2 - 2 hrs a day and ate what I though was a lot only thing is knowing what I know now it was mostly empty calories.

If I had eaten chicken, tuna, fish, veg and other food like I should I could have easily gotten up to 180 in no time.

I was also over training and not training right. My form was not bad but I just didnt now enough.

I would have sworn or bet 1mil dollars my diet was great and I was doing everything correctly.

#1 is diet for loosing fat and gaining lean muscle.

I am getting very tired with people not listening to good solid advice and just waiting for what they want to hear and thats normally from some kid who doesnt know sh1t anyway.

    Very frustrating.

This needs moving to the AAS section

me too marcus. I am here in hopes of helping people achieve their goals, it's so frustrating when they aren't at all satisfied with where they are, then act like they know more than we do when we try to advise.

What is happening also is some newer guys are now giving advice to newbies and these newer guys are the ones who didnt listen in the first place.

I think a firmer stand is need because its getting out of hand,

    Hopefully things will change soon.

that's good to hear, even if we only point one guy out of 100 in the right direction it's worth it. fitting a proper diet into a busy day is a pain in the arse, you have to get creative with stored foods and such to fit the schedule.

Guys I'm PROOF that you do not need steroids to gain weight.

I've been a hard gainer ALL MY LIFE, and up until 8 months ago I was 150-155LBS at 6 foot tall!

After 8 months of eating like a BEAST and BUSTING MY ASS in the gym, this is how I stand now, 185lbs and I think I look pretty solid.

The first pic is EXACTLY how I was built before I started lifting.

The second pic is me 8 months later.

I'm starting to really slow down with my gains in size, but still slowly gaining strength.

When I started 45lbs dumbell flat bench was my max, now I'm at 105's.

I'm twice as strong in every single aspect.

For my 30th birthday I might do a test-c cycle for 12wks (500mg per week) and see where that gets me

I DO however believe genetics do play a role in how big you can/will get naturally. EVERY male in my family is extremely thin. I am by far the largest male (with the exception of my great uncle who was a freak).

I am a giant compared to the other men in my family as far as size goes. My Genetics just make me VERY lean (even as I'm nearing 30, I do not have to even do a sit up for a 6 pack).

But that aside, no one and I mean NO ONE who has never even picked up a weight and has a shitty diet has ANY BUSINESS touching a steroid .

Steroids aren't the smoking gun, you MUST eat right, train hard, and sleep well in order to grow.

remember that as you grow so does your caloric needs. adjust accordingly and you should have no problem continuing to grow.

Yup! I know this is going to sound a little.. strange.. but when I first started lifting/eating right - I was litterally stuffing my face. After about a month of doing it, I felt this odd sensation where my stomach is, almost as if my stomach was stretching out from all the food?

It went away after a month, and my appetite is really intense. I eat huge portions and only eat foods with high protein. My diet is finally really locked in and it's showing.

I also feel like all the protein I am consuming makes my muscles.. full all the time? Anyways, I just got done eating a steak and potatoes an hr ago, now its time for a protein shake
