I live in maine, it snows here every other day and has been sub zero temps for weeks...we never close roads, cancel school, well sometimes school but my point is we have the ability to keep running otherwise to other states standards we would all just shut everything down for 4 months...do you live in a state where it dosent snow much?...I just shoveled 3 feet off of my roof and that was after only 1.5 weeks or 3 storms worth...

It was crazy here in the city . I understand what you are saying Ghettoboyd but for 99% of the city folk it was impossible to get around . Plows block driveway & side street entrances to the point where anyone without a good 4 wheel drive will get stuck.We also had negative -40 wind chills almost all day with high temps of -9 . The roads right now are a sheet of ice rutted with snow on top. Where I am at we got 17" of snow in 36 hrs & that is a lot for us.
