Pics of yourself .. up to date ones.
I think a good idea would be that all member have a AV of yourselves .
Simply the reason is that we all give info from diet and AAS use,It would be nice if we can see what the person looks like thats giving info.. I.E there could be someone who is completely out of shape giving diet tips . Or A so called AAS user that looks like a 7 stone weakling . At the end of they day why should we hide , we are ment to be proud of what we do. Just a thought guys

I like this idea! At least you'd know if the person advising is in shape or not.

I think it's called their profile. Avatar is just that, what/who we would like to be, not who we are. An avatar is the graphical representation of the user or the user's alter ego or character.
Remember though, sometimes the best teachers are not people who do. Those who cant do, teach. It was scientist who got man to the moon, not the astronauts.

I agree though, I would not like some fat guy giving me diet information or some skinny kid telling me how to work out and get big. LOL
There are people who have experience in working out and diet but due to ??? are not necessarily in the best shape right now but use to be and they are still passionate about it.
Me personally, I am a work in progress continually learning from others and hoping to continually improve never reaching perfection. Once you reach perfection where is there to go? LOL

I really like the idea.
When I was seeking advice here, I was always wondering "who" was giving the advise.
I would like it to be someone of age (not necessarily TR age), a few cycles under their belt, and a physique to prove it.
Same reason I like to be helped by someone similar to myself rather than an old lady when I go to my supp. store.
But Lovebyts is correct in his statement, there is street knowledge, and there is book knowledge.
After spending a few months on here, I found out by their responses and x-checking accuracy, who is knowledgeable, who is parroting, who is just here to be controversial, who is objective (important), or who is "do what I do".
You´ll find out too.
Well LB, I just kept working out. Just went into maintenance mode.
But prepare yourself.....It´s kinda lonely here...

Maintenance mode, Ive been there many times and it's where I'm now for a while until I'm back at it full time 5x a week physically and mentally ready to build again. For now maintenance is a good thing. Also my goals are long term, not just 2 or 3 months out in the future but most are 1+ year away.

In body building E.C.T I like to be informed by people that have been there done that and have the photo to prove it. Anyone can write a book or copy and paste articles or just pinch other peoples facts and figures .Its like someone saying they can bench 300kg @ a body weight of 80k .. you would not really believe it unless you have seen it. proof is in the eye.
Yes people can also put false pics up..But thats really sad..lol

I hear what your saying, but noone is really getting paid for their advice. People need to take advice on a board like this with a grain of salt. Many have good things to share, but like any research...cant limit to one source. I usually can weed out the kids and goof balls. It would be nice to know though

I can understand why people would want to know who is giving them advice BUT ^ agree with Dec.
I joined the site because a medical situation and than depression as a result of... blew me to 90lbs more than I was. Even tho I knew alot, I just couldnt get myself to follow/act on what I knew.
The site appealed to me beacuse of the support and extra information I saw my honey get from it. I dont plan on become a bb competitor (lol) but I want to surround myself with people of like mindness of beig/maintaing a healthy body and staying focused/motovated about fitness.
It is intimidating seeing pix of ladyz with like 2% body fat and at times I feel like a tard commenting on peoples diet ?s cuz I have like 30% bf, but it doesn't dismiss all that I was/knew about fitness/eating just because my head went to a sad place and my body followed it.

I had mine up, got ID´d by a co-worker by a freak coincidence, and scared the shiz out of me. All good now.

Agreed for the most part. I know guys who were giving advice (parroting really) and were very out of shape, well over 20% bodyfat telling people how to diet, and had never achieved anything themselves.
That said, some of the best coaches can't play the game...
My avy is about 3 weeks old.

Mine is just over a week old, and I like this idea.
Because I feel uncomfortable watching 21 year old kids who weight 165 give out advice on NPP or hgh. But I guess 95% of people on this website are 'personal trainers'

we kn ow who most of these kids are, its the ones that have slipped their feet under the table with regarding underage using and freely parade through the site advising and noobs dont know they're being advised by a 19-21yr on their 1st stupid cycle, pisses me off seeing them being thanked for their 'expertise'
we should be allowed to point them out to ppl without recrimination for inciting flaming.Last edited by dec11; 10-11-2011 at 09:58 AM.

Never posted a pic. You dont have to take any of my advice if you dont want to because of that.

I don't think it pertains as much to staff, sorry to say. The fact that staff is staff says something already... i.e. they got there by giving sound advice, posting useful info, etc. IMO it's more about members with 200 posts offering advice on HGH and AAS... and profile states they're 22 years old.
-
10-10-2011, 11:35 AM #38
Why not Staff ? I thought they would be first to show who they are and be proud of that. After all its there overall site . Sorry staff and leaders lol
