I really thought my leg day on Sunday was a waste but yesterday when I was doing some stairs I could really feel it in my lower quads. I think all this time I have been missing hitting that part of the muscle and probably is why my upper quads and ass are ginormous

IMG tag or just "insert image" button. You need the pic to be already up somewhere ie. a web address and/or upload yourself to an hosting site.

Good morning MS yeah it's nice walking around up there there are some big bucks and bear but not as many the weather is brutal up there.A lot of history in that land after the Rev war the guys came home and settled the land up there but they found it way too rocky.A friend and I with metal detectors went around old home sights where you can still see the old foundations. We find a lot of broken plow parts and sometimes some niffy junk old bottles a very old key.But you got too be watchful for the old wells they are DEEP!

There was an old dump by my house that people would dump bigger items off out in the country. I would find old bottles, cans, signs and so on. I didn't appreciate much as a kid. But hell those American Pickers guys make a killing off the shit I had in my play fort out in the tree line lol

Solid back and biceps workout yesterday. I went fairly easy on pulling and bicep exercises since my elbows were very sore. Mainly hit the back with a lot of reverse flies of varies angles. Biceps I focused mostly on forearms I had an insane Lower arm pump going.

I took today off, going to hit the gym tomorrow and get my cardio in and not hit the weights until Monday so my body can catch up.

I got no self control. Finished up my lower build today and was going to wait to build my upper receiver until work starts up. Was all excited and ordered everything to complete my upper. I have no impulse control...well guess that's not true, I didn't buy a barrel or muzzle device

You don't need a muzzle device. Check out ARperformance, great barrels.

Here's my 6.8 SPC with the night vision on it. Awaiting my damn suppressor for it, should be in by January I think. Went light weight and the camo vinyl is from Gun Skins. It's been on for about 2-3 years and still looks new.

Damn nice! How do you like shooting the 6.8 SBC? That's still on an AR 15 plate form right?

I'm debating building a .308 next since I have a lot of shit from my other .308 or building a 6.5 Grendel on the AR15 platform. I have another Aero lower and upper I can build off of.

HIIT cardio for an hour tonight.

Have purposely been keeping myself from the gym the last two days to heal up my elbows and knees from overuse.

Pretty descent little HIIT session. I did 10 total rounds of heavy rope work focusing on explosion, box jumps (10 each time) and Ab work on the stability ball focusing on upper, lower and obliques. With only 30 seconds rest after abs then moved to the next round. I was going to stop there, but I was bored and sick of home so told myself I would do 15 minutes of jog and incline on the thread mill. That turned into another 35 minutes, but it was s great workout as well. I was bouncing my heart rate between 130-165 and on the walk incline portion really focusing on driving the thread back with my hams and glutes.

Going to do another HIIT circuit tomorrow and Sunday.

Off day today. No cardio no weights no nothing.

I really had to fight myself to not go. My body needs rest but I'm in such a groove I don't want to stop. I'll hit legs tomorrow going to really try and smash this workout. Last weeks leg workout was only ok, my knee and left groin/hip flexor was really bothering me. I plan on starting a clean bulk September one and run it through December or January. Actually probably run it through until my goals are met, which has yet to be determined exactly. Major focus will be put on legs to but the size I lost after the knee surgeries and shoulders.

Legs today, think I am going with a new split.

Quads and light hammies on Monday's then hammies and light quads mixed with calves on both days. It's a long brutal workout trying to get it all in one workout and doing that twice a week. Plus I think my legs need more rest.

I seemed to diagnose my hip flexor/groin pain. My adductors are weak and are getting injuries when I squat or do heavy leg press. The last couple weeks I have been doing exercises to strenghtbeb them and it's really helping. I could feel the one on my left leg really straining bad on light hack squats. It must be why it hurts so bad when I squat. Anyway, I am avoid barbell squat until my left adductors catch up. Been doing the leg press with super slow negatives along with the Arc squat machine, slow negatives in those. Really burns out my lower quarts which is a point of emphasis.

hmmmmmm...... this is what i feel i have going on as well. after a heavy leg day, it feels like my groin muscles and groin tendons are about to pop! they feel tight as hell along with my IT bands. i haven't tried the arc squat machine yet, i am guessing it is what i think it is. weights hang low or on the side, pads on shoulders, and press upward? i need to start doing more add/abd work. i only do them about once a month, may need to do them once a week.
