That's about where I was thinking you were on the Losartan and was going to suggest trying 24 - 32 mg/day of candesartan. May want to give it a few weeks to stabilize if you stay on it.
Usually any BP med takes a couple of weeks to settle down to it's actual effects from my experience...except Clonidine. I was on it once when the heart went really bad. F*ck that med. It will shrink your dinger down so that it fits in your watch pocket and is crazy strong. Definitely a short term usage med.
I think APIs is on 32mg candesartan daily and really likes it. Seems like he said it nuked his headaches as well. I'm on 4mg candesartan daily and 6.25mg carvedilol b.i.d.
LOL, if you need doors with holes in them I have a few and I think I have the remnants of a heavy bag that had the guts knocked out of it as well.

With the ongoing comp I've been handicapped by no gym for half the run and some other setbacks, August well summer it's harsh where I live and it's a factor I need to consider, I'll see how things progress this month if I feel like 100% in I'll join next one otherwise I'm out.

I'd like to participate in this one. Wanna get leaner without losing muscle/ hopefully gain a little. I'll be off cycle the whole time so it'll be good to see how I do with maintaining my recent gains. Also, my coach is planning on reintroducing carbs in my diet. So many changes- good time to keep close track of things

Might as well put it here. The criteria for winning the competition is pretty straightforward:
Judging criteria
Judging done solely based on starting pictures compared to finishing pictures.
The judging critera are most improved physique, in terms of muscle gain and fat loss.
At the same time, de-improvement in your physique should be penalized, such as fat gain and muscle loss, because your physique obviously de-improves.
Hypothetical scenario, if:
person A gains X amount of muscle,
person B gains X amount of muscle and loses Y amount of fat
person B wins
if,
person A gains X amount of muscle
person B loses Y amount of fat,
if X is greater than Y, person A wins, vice versa for person B to win.
so there is some logic to it but the criteria is still as basic as it gets, gain muscle, lose fat.
Doing something like not training legs should also be penalized because thats only gaining muscle in half your physique...
The judging system is based on a points system. Each judge ranks each competitors improvement from first to last. I will then compile the rankings and give points for each ranking;
Each first place ranking from a judge gets 10 points (if there are ten competitors)
second place 9 points
third 8 points
...
Tenth place 1 point
The competitor who gets the most points wins.
