M chest/back leg ext
T bi/tri leg curls
W squats/extensions abs
T shoulders calfs
F cardio
Workouts are hit, and doing cardio everyday after, probably 30 mins. May do arms again on Friday, or do stuff like lunges, stair steps, jumping jacks...etc
This is a total change from my bulking routine, will probably take a few weeks to really dial it in.
Workouts are in the am at gym, planning to start doing some cardio at home in the evening. Also got a big red oak that fell, and a splitting maul...woohooLast edited by guitarzan; 01-02-2018 at 10:51 AM.

I have been in a rehab type training but now I am back to the weights. I am now using two of the member's suggestions to hit the gym twice a day. First thing in the morning I am doing a "fasting" cardio workout for 50 minutes. I am all about those womens classes now. Those yoga pants and hot girls in there just seem to push me harder than I would do on my own. I am doing this as a split due to GH I believe saying that is it is best to do cardio first then wait and do muscle building. He gave a great answer as to the resons why in a thread so I am going to take his word for it.
Then afternoon workout is weight training Monday - Friday and I am using the Dorian Yates workouts. Saturday is the HIIT workout in the morning. Wife loves that class and there are totally different girls in that class.
In the past, I have found a great way to lose weight is walking. Just set the treadmill at a pace that will give me allow me to talk but at a labored breathing. I do this for 25 minutes and I am done.

Thanks. Never even thought about the novice. I think that the open will have a bunch of BG's and I think I am too small. It's $175 per category so I think I may only do the masters and novice.
What is the competition like in the novice?
Probably with my luck even the novice and masters will be full of BG's. LOL

Ok. I think I’m about to learn something. I only cut going into a competition. This year I bulked and was able to keep my bf at about 12%. My pics were higher than 12% because I tried something new and threw off my carbs and I gained weight.
I would be trying to bulk on my next cycle if I were not to compete.
Please help guide the misguided.

I do a muscle group every 6 days.
chest
legs
shoulders
bi and tri
back
one day rest then start over
Now that I am going to try and cut I will do fasted cardio 3-4 days in the morning. 30-45 minutes
I normally do 20-30 sets depending on what muscle group. I will mix in heavy days with low reps and switch to light days with high reps.Last edited by diesel101; 01-02-2018 at 02:37 PM.

hi peeps did chest and biceps yesterday.... had to take today off from gym because I had to work late due to major storm expected to hit Maine Thursday night got to get ahead of my delivery's...its been so cold for the last 2 weeks where temps only reached as high as maybe 10degrees and now who knows whats up we will probably get buried...ive had to jump my work truck the last 4 out of 5 days so I got the company to pony up for a new battery I hope that helps...anyways ill get the work in at some point(was leg day)...

No idea what the novice will look like. You will know at weigh in. Lol. If you are show ready it won’t matter.
BG iluded to this... I found for me 15 weeks was what I needed to get comp ready. March may be a little short. But I don’t know what it takes for you. You don’t want to be on stage and think I could have trained harder or I wish I’d had more time to prep. Just something to think about.
