The patch and sunflower seeds worked for me. After the first few days it got easier and easier but still had urges. Just start eating sunflower seeds when you get the urge to smoke.

Patches unfortunately were absolutely useless for me, just like nicotine gums. I would like to try vaping , seems like a lot of guys managed to give up smoking due to e-cigs. I see vapers daily on the streets, and there are fewer and fewer nicotine smokers around, that's a good tendency I think.

I'm at 11 Months. I know alot of people, even some smokers hate the smell, but everytime i walk past an allocated smokers area, i find myself hanging about too long.
Glad i did it though.

People nowadays quit smoking by buying e cigarettes, so did I when decided to quit forever. There's a place I often buy e liquids at, https://www.mygadget.us/, welcome anyone who vapes too.

True that
This vape shit just can’t be a positive substitute
Shit, after all my shit hit the fan - wife; just go buy a pack, shit I’ll go buy one for u - me; idgaf, I’ll take the stress
Since then I had one cigarette with my neighbor - so, one smoke in over a week
Most folk can’t pull off smoking like I have - I am not totally certain why

I absolutely agree. E-cigarettes, vapors, poppers, all this stuff can be also addictive.
My friend started vaping in order to quit smoking nicotine cigarettes, and became addicted to crack. He even received treatment in a rehab center https://addictionresource.com/drugs/crack/. In my opinion, smoking is much easier to overcome than alcohol or drug addiction. All you need is your desire and willpower.Last edited by Frank777; 02-10-2020 at 05:22 AM.

I stopped six months ago. Smoked for 15 years. Took 7 times reading the Allen Carr book, last couple of times felt especially stupid - I could almost re-tell whole paragraphs. But hey, it worked
Can’t imagine myself smoking again unless I get back on the drink, which I will not. I prefer tren now lol

A thread revival, I c
That’s unfortunately a negative, the #1 carcinogen is tar - weed is way more full of tar than a cancer stick
On another note: I tried the Jewel thing for the first time(the wife’s sister huffs this shit) actually it was a stronger cheaper generic according to her - holly hell. I have smoked cigarettes on/off since I was 14 - this thing hit me like ton of bricks - it felt to me like I pulled as much nicotine(+whatever other crap it’s full of) in one rip as 1/2 a cigarette has
She’s 19, had a purse full of these darn things. But, she did completely agree - she feels that it’s no better than smoking cigarettes, just tastes better
I have a strong feeling our generation & on will not have a lengthy lifespan. We’re just doing way too much, way too fast without knowing any form of long term effects - somewhat similar to folk from the 50’s or so - they smoked about 2-3 packs a day & dropped dead right over 50
Look at the crap around us, from fen to tren . Let alone the abuse of stimulants is through the roof - from ephedrine to adderall. We use this shit like nothing - fuck, look at our caffeinated drinks
Oh well,

Swim doesn't give a fuck, but respects the guys who run the show..

Is it a good idea to switch from cigarettes to vaping and then try to quit vaping? I just thought that if I switched to nicotine-free vaping, it would be easier for me to quit smoking because my body would get this nicotine detox for some time.
This idea pursued me for some time, and I even googled some information about it. There are contradictory opinions about this way, but I have not much left to do.
I already found some good mint nicotine-free liquids on thevapecig.co.uk and will probably order them next week. Let’s hope that vapor is better than smoke.Last edited by hickvranek; 08-13-2022 at 06:10 AM. Reason: Web address

When you want something bad enough you do what you must. I dropped smoking, drinking and cocaine cold turkey at the same time and never looked back. I put everything into the gym now. It is my salvation.

I quit - again
Got this cough sickness shit going on & it smokes cigarettes does make you smell like a Denny's from the 90's
Got one pack sittin right here - it's the way to do it for me, I have to have some left when I completely stop
Longest I have stopped over my 25 year smoking career was 4-5 years, another for over 3 - then multiple 6-12 month no smoking runs

I think I had my first cigarette at 14 or 15. I was over in the homeland at a night club and my cousin asks me "hey, you want me to get us a couple of cigarettes?" So we got some Lucky Strike singles and puffed away, laughing, drinking, having a good time. After the first square he kept going back for more and we ended up puking in the park by the club that night.
Well, the next day him and I went and got ourselves our own packs. Within a few weeks we had tried Lucky Strike, Winston, Camel, Marlboro, Pall Mall, Kent, Viceroy, etc. My other cousin got involved, too, but he sucked at holding his cigarettes... I'd always tell him "stop holding it like a fag," jokingly. We'd be walking down the street and he'd drop the cigarette and have to go back and pick it up. Some old man behind us once commented, "I can tell that you're amateurs.." after my cousin dropped his lit cigarette (again).
Now he's the only one that still smokes. I never really got deep into smoking back here in the States, though. I focused so much on lifting and figured "weed is all I need." So now when I go to Europe I can't help but buy a pack, for old time's sake. I'm lucky that I can do it but not let it become a habit.
As we all know by now, Europe has traditionally been a cigarette-friendly place. These last few years I've seen less and less of it, especially with the younger generation.
Samson, didn't realize you were smoking this time. Throw those things in the trash bro, but give me one first

I smoked passionatley for 10 years. I did 4 years in prison for posession and distribution of illegal narcotics (amphetamine). Right before i went in in my country they passed a legislation that it is not allowed to smoke in the premises of state owned institutions (that included prisons). I thank god for that legislation, i didnt smoke for 4 years and havent looked back since.
Smoking is like the stupidest thing you can do... its like 5 eur a pack in my country, if you smoke a pack a day its like 150 eur a month. For what... to smell like shit, get cancer, cough like an old man and to be reduced to going out once per hour so you can feed your addiction ? Now when im smoke free it sounds so stupid to me how smokers say that smoking "is the only thing they have" or something in those lines, when i tell them to quit. Its the only thing thats holding them back imo. I have no need to smoke. You need to take control of your life
