Dig the cuts. Wish guys would develop that long sartorious muscle more & decrease the quads slightly. You can even get a little adductor definition as well. Think it would make for a more aesthetic & balanced thigh. I thought BB was about developing everything in balance. But that's just me.

No shit you smart ass scrawny faggot.
Tell me what on roelly in the pic I posted is out of proportion.

No one gives a flying fuck about classic physique but classic physique competitors. That does not pay bills.

Your knocking motherfuckers sacrificing their lives and praising disproportional people like arnold. Fucking eeeeenormous chest and zero legs.

And he had a look-a-like brother who was not quite as great, but held his own. Died even earlier.

We dont see what common people see. Common people want the freak show. Kia Green, Roelly Winklarr, Phil, Seth, etc.

Every sport evolves and it is evolved purely by what generates the most revenue.
We want to see the best in a class.
The common person could care less. This is America and we want the biggest and baddest looking.

Bodybuildy is safe and mostly carried on the back of the open class. This is why open Mr O pays 6 times that of the 212 or classic class.

I think vote for open Mr O should be crowd decision.
If it had been... Roelly would have won and Kai would have too.

If there were only classic physique, bodybuilding would be dead as a doornail across the board.
In America we want extreme everything and yea bodybuilding is no exception lol. Physique and classic both have far less variety and dedication required.... Not to be an ass but I could maintain the muscle for those classes while completely fucking around with everything idk what people are so impressed by tbh, starve yourself and get a small waist.. Yey! Having muscle mass you can maintain training like a turd like 3 days a week... Not too amazing to me, highly agree without BB there would be NOTHING LOL

The most interesting shit is definitely the markus ruhls, ramys, roellys ronnies etc in the bodybuilding div.. Always pushing the limits, the fucking freaks and the unique ones...

And man what a dick Arnold was for trying to make gear illegal, fucking traitor! He literally took handfuls of dbol lmao! No shit he got problems from it...

Anatomy is such a cool thing. I am envious of the genetics that will just allow you to develop a muscle group to your desire and then adjust the proportions perfectly. Of course there is the work, diet & sacrifice, not discounting that one bit, but having killer genetics would be sick.

Really sorry to say this but flex's anatomy especially in that pic is like, all fucking synthol. He would be the best shaped BB of all time if he was naturally like that. He is prob the worst case of synthol fuckery outside of valentino.

I never liked Frank Zane...i see many keep mention him with Arnold etc...
We are not supposed to be loved by everybody. Bodybuilding is about getting the "What the fuck?...omg..Jesus"...Zane and todays gymrats will never get those words. But get laid..sure...

Wait, how could you not like Zane? He's like the godfather of body building but i know its not true. Arnold takes the cake and his physique for the time was really well built
Zane had an impressive physique for his time though, what are you talking about?

Zane was and is still that man. He was shredded well into his 60’s. He had the perfect body plain and simple. I think Yates pre-96 was the pinnacle of mass and aesthetics. I’ll admit that I’m a huge fan of Rollie. Not so much Phil. But i respect what he’s achieved.

Dexter is another guy I root for. He’s won absolutely everything in bodybuilding and still going strong.

I like Zane, but definitely not my favorite. Arnold had his own sense of proportions, right or wrong. Liked Coleman & Cutler, but never got into Heath.

HGH , Insulin , DNP , and Synthol . . . all somewhat controversial and sometimes accused of ruining the modern physiques of bodybuilders or simply being too dangerous to use. lots of guys think these drugs are all 'newer' and used in the last 10 years. but their hey day began in the 90s when everyone talked about how great the physiques were back then.

this combo is what gave you the mass with aesthetics and being super full yet shredded at the same time. it gave you the flex wheeler and Kevin levrones.

the difference back then was that guys only used combos like this for short term contest prep phases. but today guys run this stuff all year round.

Think its fair to add the exotic very strong anabolics to that list? (superdrol, ment, methyltren, THG etc)

These reactions are why twice as many people now go to Olympia events. This is why bodybuilding is so much bigger that it was.

People see a classic physique guy and say dude he is big and cut!

People see the mass monsters and say holy shit he has legs for are and jugular veins in them.

Men will trade their lives to stand on the stage amoung the Gods.

    Goldman's dilemma...

I can only see someone knocking them if they have little mans syndrome.

"He's too big and its stoopid!"

In regard to BB (212 and "Open") vs Classic physique and Physique competitors. I'm thinking that for many there isn't a choice. One's genetics determine where one can best compete. For instance, some women will be voluptuous and some will be lithe. Some dude's are built like nose tackles and some are built like defensive ends. At first, I thought that they created the "physique" divisions because the old category was getting so far away from what normal people would find aesthetically pleasing and maybe they did but it does give competitors the chance to reach their specific potential.

For instance, some women will be voluptuous and some will be lithe. Some dude's are built like nose tackles and some are built like defensive ends. At first, I thought that they created the "physique" divisions because the old category was getting so far away from what normal people would find aesthetically pleasing and maybe they did but it does give competitors the chance to reach their specific potential.
pretty sure they created more divisions to get more competitors and ultimately more $ . its a business first and foremost. Promoters at national events are charging competitors upwards of $500 entry fees. if you can add in a division that brings in 100 more competitors, thats $50,000 more in their pockets.. plus you now have more competitors bringing in more of their family and friends attending the event.

    its all about the $$$

some of the Olympias that Arnold won, there were only a half dozen competitors . total. for the whole damn show
