I believe LAPD referred to them as Gorillas in the mist. But really Road, be more PC please; and just no pics of you wearing animal furs, ok?

Obs doesn't wear animal furs .. he runs around naked and kills animals with his bare hands. no need for the furs cause the climate there is not that bad.
guarantee you obs has killed at least 1000+ animals with his own hands.. probably since 6 or 7.

prox don't be such a pussy .. I killed 100+ chicken when I was around 6, with an axe . next came some pigs but I used a gun to the head.. its not big deal.
you city folk really think your protein just magically comes down from heaven and into your local grocery store lol

pardon the lack of context here. context is not my forte.

“I ask not for a lighter burden, but for broader shoulders. Jewish Proverb (p. 117)”

"His eyes were soft and joyful and utterly crazy. They were the eyes of a man who has discovered the great axle of his destiny and has laid his hands upon it." The Stand by Stephen King

I met a traveller from an antique land
Who said: "Two vast and trunkless legs of stone
Stand in the desert . . . Near them, on the sand,
Half sunk, a shattered visage lies, whose frown,
And wrinkled lip, and sneer of cold command,
Tell that its sculptor well those passions read
Which yet survive, stamped on these lifeless things,
The hand that mocked them, and the heart that fed:
And on the pedestal these words appear:
'My name is Ozymandias, king of kings:
Look on my works, ye Mighty, and despair!'
Nothing beside remains. Round the decay
Of that colossal wreck, boundless and bare
The lone and level sands stretch far away.

    by Percy Bysshe Shelley

"The sun was shining on the sea,
    Shining with all his might:
He did his very best to make
The billows smooth and bright —
And this was odd, because it was
    The middle of the night.

    The moon was shining sulkily,
    Because she thought the sun
Had got no business to be there
After the day was done —
"It's very rude of him," she said,
"To come and spoil the fun."

The sea was wet as wet could be,
The sands were dry as dry.
You could not see a cloud, because
No cloud was in the sky:
No birds were flying overhead —
There were no birds to fly.

    The Walrus and the Carpenter
    Were walking close at hand;
They wept like anything to see
    Such quantities of sand:
If this were only cleared away,'
They said, it would be grand!'

If seven maids with seven mops
Swept it for half a year,
Do you suppose,' the Walrus said,
That they could get it clear?'
I doubt it,' said the Carpenter,
    And shed a bitter tear.

O Oysters, come and walk with us!'
    The Walrus did beseech.
A pleasant walk, a pleasant talk,
    Along the briny beach:
We cannot do with more than four,
To give a hand to each.'

The eldest Oyster looked at him,
But never a word he said:
The eldest Oyster winked his eye,
And shook his heavy head —
Meaning to say he did not choose
    To leave the oyster-bed.

But four young Oysters hurried up,
    All eager for the treat:
Their coats were brushed, their faces washed,
Their shoes were clean and neat —
And this was odd, because, you know,
    They hadn't any feet.

    Four other Oysters followed them,
    And yet another four;
And thick and fast they came at last,
And more, and more, and more —
All hopping through the frothy waves,
    And scrambling to the shore.

    The Walrus and the Carpenter
Walked on a mile or so,
And then they rested on a rock
    Conveniently low:
And all the little Oysters stood
    And waited in a row.

The time has come,' the Walrus said,
    To talk of many things:
    Of shoes — and ships — and sealing-wax —
Of cabbages — and kings —
And why the sea is boiling hot —
    And whether pigs have wings.'

But wait a bit,' the Oysters cried,
    Before we have our chat;
For some of us are out of breath,
And all of us are fat!'
    No hurry!' said the Carpenter.
They thanked him much for that.

A loaf of bread,' the Walrus said,
    Is what we chiefly need:
    Pepper and vinegar besides
    Are very good indeed —
Now if you're ready, Oysters dear,
    We can begin to feed.'

But not on us!' the Oysters cried,
    Turning a little blue.
After such kindness, that would be
    A dismal thing to do!'
The night is fine,' the Walrus said.
    Do you admire the view?

It was so kind of you to come!
    And you are very nice!'
    The Carpenter said nothing but
    Cut us another slice:
I wish you were not quite so deaf —
I've had to ask you twice!'

It seems a shame,' the Walrus said,
To play them such a trick,
After we've brought them out so far,
And made them trot so quick!'
    The Carpenter said nothing but
    The butter's spread too thick!'

I weep for you,' the Walrus said:
    I deeply sympathize.'
With sobs and tears he sorted out
    Those of the largest size,
    Holding his pocket-handkerchief
    Before his streaming eyes.

    O Oysters,' said the Carpenter,
    You've had a pleasant run!
Shall we be trotting home again?'
But answer came there none —
And this was scarcely odd, because
    They'd eaten every one."

DD- I did not take it that way. I am blind to race however I may make some jokes every now and then. I even make them against white people and are meant as comic relief and not meant as racism. I try to not make jokes that are felt as racism, but it’s all perception.

    My take on this:

It is Saturday night here on the forum, drinks are flowing, and it's all par for the course.

I don't have the "time in service" here on the forum, to criticize (or assault your character) you guys on the forum... I learned my lesson from the last time.

I think what GH was getting at was not that American slavery was anything resembling Club Med, but that the S. American brand was by far much more brutal, with a far lower life expectancy for the unfortunate chattel.

    Slavery was driven by economics.

What is shocking is that there are people still bitching about it today...

I remember when we first arrived in Somalia. There was one black guy in my platoon, and he was talking on the boat with the ship's company, "We goin to the mutherland. We goin tuh Africa, muther-Africa..." You should have seen his face when he saw that 5th world (because it was and still is way below the 3rd world rating) SHITHOLE. We were all busting his balls as time went on, "Mother-Africa, huh? Cradle of mankind..." We told him, it looks like slavery was the best thing that ever happened to your ancestors; imagine what your life would have been like growing up in a place like this...

Hey, if we go back far enough in time, I venture to guess that every man was a slave to another, at some point. A slave and exploited for profit.
But I have yet to hear the Caucasian race bitching about it... Maybe because these people were too busy rebuilding their lives, along with rebuilding the rest of the advanced world.

    Who knows...

It borders on the incomprehensible, just how the black race comports itself in the face of authority figures, such as the police. I don't know very many white people who do something like that.

    Who knows...

    Victim mentality.
Everyone is a victim of something today it seems.

    Except me.

I grew up in the poorest place in the nation a poor fucker. Believe me the thing keeping the poor down is themselves and their own behaviors. Cant believe it turns into race every time cops murder someone.

“There is no reason for you to try to become like white people and there is no basis whatever for their impertinent assumption that they must accept you. The terrible thing, old buddy, is that you must accept them. And I mean that very seriously. You must accept them and accept them with love. For these innocent people have no other hope. They are, in effect, still trapped in a history which they do not understand; and until they understand it, they cannot be released from it. They have had to believe for many years, and for innumerable reasons, that black men are inferior to white men. Many of them, indeed, know better, but, as you will discover, people find it very difficult to act on what they know.”

― James Baldwin, The Fire Next Time

back to this "slavery" thing real quick..

I was called a "racist, weak little white man" by DD. Why ? simply because I quote some historical facts that slaves were taken from Africa on their way to South America to work sugar cane fields and likely have a horrible life , and southern American christians when the ships would stop to port and restock there, on their way to South America, would end up buying some of these 'slaves' to save them from likely doom, and provided them with clothes, housing, a job, and taught them the christian faith.

so because I stated this fact of history , I'm now a racist weak white man .
    lol . some people.

the thing is , some people form their ideas and thoughts merely around 'social convention' , what they see around them and the daily experiences of their lives . rather then actual studying and reading facts. they form these strong opinions , mainly out of self pride, but the opinion is just in their head and not based in actual facts and reality.. thats how 95% of most people operate and base their ideas about religion, politics, etc.. just based on their own social conventions and experiences. not actual study.

I didn't just pull that idea of slaves being bought by Christians in Alabama to save them from doom out of my ass .. I take some time to read here and there and develop opinions bases on research , rather then 'social convention'

99% of guys here probably have an idea about the civil war, slavery etc.. based on their life experiences (social convention),, but never took the time to look into it for themselves.
yet they want to have strong enough opinion that they can ridicule me and call me a racist simply because I stated a historical fact based on actual study.

Well that explains things. Drinking alcohol in the morning? No wonder you’re not as successful as me. I’ve got productive shit to do during the day, not waste away in Margaritaville.

Ok- I’m going to end this once and for all. I understand.
GH got this “fact” from o de of his nightmares, but he woke up at 3 am and couldn’t tell it without finishing it so he added the ending.
At least GH is a nice racist. LOL

You state there are billions of Christians drinking wine this Sunday morning.
First let's say there are 2.3 billion Christians.
Next let's realize that it is not Sunday everywhere on the planet.
Next it is not morning everywhere on the planet. (FYI: the earth is NOT flat.)
And finally, out of those Christians where it is Sunday morning, I would guess that the vast majority aren't drinking.

So there aren't billions of Christians drinking like you at this moment.
My guess is there aren't even a quarter of a billion.

My point is you lie. (No surprise there.)
This type of lie can be called a gross overexaggeration.

LMAO. Only you would try to spin a whiskey on the rocks equating to the wine (blood of Christ) given at communion.

Yes, by all means keep the sabbath holy with your whiskey on the rocks.

Once again with gross over exaggeration.

Let's say there were some Christians in Alabama who bought slaves and were actually nice to them.

It doesn't mean that every slave bought by the White folk in the south was bought to be set free from their black overlords.
You do realize that there are other states in the South besides Alabama don't you?

So maybe let's say 2% of slaves found good White Overlords.
    The othere 98% didn't.

Also, what the fuck do you even mean by black overlords?

    From my understanding....
The Europeans went to Africa where they got slaves.
Some that got by raiding but most were purchased from other Africans.

Once on the boats the slaves had White European Overlords.

Now some of those boats went to Europe.
    Some to South America.
    And some to North America.
The ones going to the Americas may have stopped at islands in the Caribbean.

Please tell me where these black overlords are from.

Our looters have moved up to Starbucks, Whole Foods & were making their way to Rodeo Drive. I applaud their progressiveness.

I would like to establish something though in the utmost of sincerity. I am not racist and the “I can’t breathe dude” I referred to was Eric Garner (a completely different set of circumstances). This latest dude? That was murder, flat out murder. WTF were those dumb-ass cops thinking?

Come on DD. Everything he is saying, you are arguing. You are admin and you are not setting a good example.
I get it. You don’t like him. Just let it go. This is turning out just like Marcos. Nobody wins this type of argument.
Please just skip his threads. You know in your mind they are going to be self righteous.

No, GH offends truth & intelligence with some of his comments.

If someone came on the forum promoting the injecting a gallon of whole milk into their muscles every day because it produces better growth than AAS, every member would be riding that dude’s ass.

I can go to your profile and look at your post history .. 95% of them are simply following me around and posting to my posts.
why don't you go in the diet section and help someone out there rather then following me around all day.

Did I say I was “better” GH? Another twisting of the truth by you. My hours due to this virus have been altered, but I rarely am awake past 11. If so, I have revived myself temporarily after passing out in the living room.

That has decreased significantly though because
my wife forbids me to coming to bed now once she turns out the lights, lol. And it is NOT a comfortable couch to sleep on.

And you fell for it perfectly.
For a self proclaimed genius you are really easy to trap.

So I made an example of gross over exaggeration... and then I followed it up with another post of your use of gross over exaggeration. That one mentioned your so called Black Overlords. Care to address my second post?

You didn’t answer the post about black overlords because you can’t. Because they didn’t have black overlords.

If you can’t see how your statement was racist then you are beyond ignorant.

I also am done with you.

I will lay off you for now.

But I will make short responses to any lies I see you post.

I "can't" ... ugh why should I have to "prove" anything , because your just to lazy to read and want to pretend to be smart and debate me over anything I ever say..
    geesh..

    "pick up and read"
if you can tell me that quote without using google you'll impress me.

but as far as finding the "black over lords" and the brits who sold Africa into slavery to fund sugar cane production.. its not hard to find . heck use page one of google if thats all your mentally capable of.
why should I "prove" anything , when your too lazy to read the facts anyhow.

this is a gym rat steroid forum .. just a bunch of bros talking smack and experience on how to get jacked and strong.

fyi - I have a religious blog and website I run and in that blog I write articles and provide footnotes and references to every point I make.

but you really think I need to post a reference to everything I say on a meathead bro forum. ugh,, spend 20 minutes and look it up yourself its not that hard . instead of arguing something you've not even tried to think about.

fucking meatheads.. no wonder your called "meat heads"

    fool

a 10 minute google search and you'd see that my simple casual post about slavery is plenty true .. but your too lazy to look into it.. and would rather join hands with the devil and bare a false witness and accuse judgment upon another brother.
    foolish foolish mind.

DD- just leave it alone. Does it really matter? These posts have vengeance in them.
I’m not on anyone’s side, but you are a monitor and should live up to a higher standard.
That sounds like a recent event. Hmmm.

I am not against you, just against what you are doing. What will you accomplish?
That is a question that I always ask on tren . LOL. It’s the only thing that stops me from making an ass out of myself. I probably still do it anyways but at least I don’t think so.
I like disagreements but where people look at the others point of view.
