Just amazing…very entertaining. NFL certainly got what it wanted with parity. Getting to the point like the NBA where the game doesn’t matter, just the last 60 seconds.

Super Bowl cannot match this last weekend, especially the Bills/Chiefs.

You are correct sir, but I’m not sleeping on Burrows. Personally, I like the All State commercials with Mayhem a hell of a lot more that Rogers in the State Farm ads. That alone will make up for Green Bay’s loss. Plus I love how OBJ has been playing, great flashbacks to the past & Kupp is out of this world.

They built the greatest stadium, assembled a championship caliber team; oops forgot something - a large, dedicated fan base. Apparently only 35% of the fans at SoFi this Sunday will be Ram fans.

He should probably spend a little more time working on holding onto the football
The way Sony has been running lately, I don’t see why he didn’t get more action. Oh ya. And he hasn’t been fumbling, lol
Akers is a beast though, but you CANNOT fumble in the playoffs. Inexcusable

Exactly & agree! The Titans should have ran Foreman more as well. Sometimes coaches get too wrapped up in a certain player. The sports writers were focused on that very same thing today for sure. It was great that Kupp was able to make those catches & erase his fumble.

Anybody got any pics for the weekends games?
I WOULD put some out there, but man, I've been surprised so much I'm a bit shell shocked
Ah, who am I kidding?? Here are my pics for the weekend!
Andy Reid will be arrested Sunday night. Why, you ask? Because his Chiefs are going to murder Cincinnati. The Bengals gave up 9 sacks against the Titans. How in the heck did they still win that game?? The Titans offense fell a little flat, that's how. Mahomes and his squad will not. I'm predicting at least a two touchdown margin of victory for the Chiefs.
San Francisco at LA will be a little closer. Both teams have things to prove, to themselves and the football world. Bottom line, the Rams spent a ton of money in the off season and I expect it to pay off here. Rams win, but by less than a touchdown.
Am I off my rocker? You tell me!

GO BENGALS!! That was so gutty and gritty!! WOW!
Hated that call not to kick the FG to close out the first half….knew that would haunt them. Uhhhhh, yup

Damn, another nail biter in LA…
I mean what more can you ask for from the NFL this year?

Is anybody watching the pro bowl this weekend? I mean, does anybody really care? Well, except all the business in Vegas that will be flooded with tons of people, most of which likely have more money than sense...

I can’t bring myself to watch it. There was a time when guys played harder (not Pete Rose hustle) but at least looked like they were trying. These days it’s a glorified version of two hand touch. With as big and fast as these dudes are, I can’t say I blame them but it doesn’t mean I’m going to dedicate three hours of my day to watching what an essentially a meaningless game, rostered with dudes who are doing everything they can not to get hurt.
After the amazing year of football we’ve all had the joy of watching, it has letdown written all over it, regardless of the outcome.
Let’s go Bengals!! (I can’t even believe that I get to type that in February!!)

Just watched 90 seconds of the pro bowl, no need to watch any further. Not aloud to tackle anymore??? No pass rush, ref just blows the whistle, what a joke…..
When I saw 35 points scored in just after the 1st quarter I knew something was up.
I just hope every player gets a participation trophy when it’s over!!!

Probably best that the Raiders play in Vegas. If they called SoFi home, comas would be the lesser of problems. As it is, Dodgers games are nasty enough.
Hey $50K for a group of 4 tickets on the 50 yard line for Sunday. $50K per seat. Parking at $1700 is a bargain, particularly if you ride share.
I was thinking of doing the open call for extras for the halftime show. Apparently it required 3 days of 12+ hours of practice (unpaid). That, plus the fact that I don’t like the performers made my decision easy.

Everyone watch the Super Bowl. Wango is going to streak down the field at the 2 minute mark before the half.
He lives right next door.

[video=youtube_share;20g3QIUnOgY]https://youtu.be/20g3QIUnOgY[I may be close, but with traffic ? Plus running for my life from Donald and Von Miller doesn’t seem to be a good idea as my 40 yard dash time is a shade over 45 seconds. But like I said, could have gotten on field if only I’d donate 36 hours of my time learning the choreography. BTW, I would have been the dude f’n up the whole show with my lack of rhythm & dance skills & piss off Snoop Dog like the last time. In my defense, this was before I started TRT.
On Sunday I will comfortably be in a food coma and nicely toasted in front of a very big flat screen.

If it is any consolation, and I acknowledge it might not be, any "Naked Man Camera" gets blocked here by default. Now, if you could persuade a few of the more lithe, flexible and / or acrobatic young ladies participating in the half time show to join you, eh, who can say? That could be worth the risk.

Is it the old grumpy man in me or is this nice gesture a bit well, awkward?

Alright, people! This is it.... You have a few more hours to get your picks in for...
SUPER BOWL 2022!!!
I'm not picking this year. I've been sh!t in the playoffs, so just whatever I was thinking will probably be the opposite. But with that said, I can't help but run my mouth a little....
Can the young outplay the old(er) at the QB position? I don't know, man. This is a tough one. I've not been particularly impressed with Stafford over the years, but geez man, he was in the 7th level of QB hell in Detroit until this year. Still, he has consistently somehow managed to have a good TD to INT ratio, given that he was QB'ing for the Lions and they like their losing records. I would not have picked him to build a super start team around, though the Rams did and they got great numbers from him this year. Shows what I know.
Burrow, on the other hand, has a little bit of a Namath'esque swagger. Will JB deliver? Hard to say. This is a second year guy going to the big dance, and frankly, I think the Bengals have been playing well over their abilities this year, especially in the the playoffs. Could it BE that I have simply misjudged their abilities?? Yeah, it could be. But man, any team that gives up 9 sacks in a playoff game (vs TEN), how deep can they go? Answer: all the way to the Super Bowl, evidently.
In other words, I no longer feel like I have a clue how this one is going to shake out. But I'm hoping for a good, competitive game.
And hell, if @Wango makes an appearance, I might even contribute to the inevitable gofundme page to bail him out...

I’m not ruling Burrow out, particularly with that stud Chase. But man the Ram’s defensive rush is relentless. For as solid as Stafford has been (and I’m so happy for him after his dedication to the Lions), had SF not dropped that easy interception at the end of the game . . . .
Not happening. If there is one thing that drives me the craziest, it’s traffic and the freeways & the city of Inglewood is going to be a nightmare of epic proportions. We’re chilling with friends, food, booze and a big screen in a city in the opposite direction.
Not a big fan of rap/hip hop, but that is a stellar group at halftime, got to admit. I don’t need to see them roll out the Stones or The Who in wheelchairs for yet another farewell. Now Metallica or Slipknot, that would be sick!

Alright folks, half time! Time to play "Where's Wango?"
