  1. Day 12 - Why blog post

by , 08-02-2013 at 06:41 AM (An honest journey)
    Dear reader,

Today I will focus on something different in this blog post which is the blog itself. There are a few reasons I have a blog with the most obvious being accountability. There is also motivation, record keeping, and feedback to name a few. For anyone who have read my previous posts will notice that I write a lot about daughter, wife, and other external factors. There is not simply an entry with weight, height, and body fat percentage and a short description of the workout ...

by , 08-01-2013 at 06:50 AM (An honest journey)
    Dear reader,

Today there were no morning Cardio but I had it this afternoon instead. Felt like I needed to sleep in a bit to feel refreshed. Also did Back in the gym today and this is a very short 35min workout.

Switched up Lunch today with a Yoghurt and Blueberries. I will probably pay for this on the scale tomorrow due to Carbs but the need for fruit in my body felt pretty high and Blueberries is at least a “good” fruit.

    Well, short ...

  3. Day 10 - Strong coffee needed

by , 07-31-2013 at 07:32 AM (An honest journey)
Good morning or is it afternoon,

My morning consists of getting out of bed, walking into the kitchen and hitting the power switch to the coffee maker, filling up 1L of water and downing my morning pills. Vitamins, 200mg caffeine, Magnesium, and Clenbuterol. Normally I would start waking up after about 20-30 minutes but this morning not even standing on the elliptical pushing 165 bpm/min got me to a completely woken state. Not sure what the heck happened but tired is not a word enough ...

  4. Day 9 - Never turns out as planned

by , 07-30-2013 at 08:31 AM (An honest journey)
    Good afternoon,

This morning I was up at 05.30, having some coffee and pre-workout snacks (Read Whey Protein Shake) and mentally preparing for my Cardio session at 06.00. At around 05.55 I was heading out the door as a little head opened the bedroom door asking for Daddy and wanting to watch childrens programming. Tried reasoning with this almost 4 year old about going back to bed was a futile attempt. After 90 minutes of cartoons and feeding this little monster some breakfast my wife ...
  5. Day 8 - New week and going strong

by , 07-29-2013 at 05:28 AM (An honest journey)
    Dear reader,

It’s Monday and at 05.30 the alarm went off. I almost bounced out of bed this morning to make sure I would not have an excuse to not do Cardio. It is amazing to me how much of this process that is pure mental power, the simple (or almost impossible) act of just getting out of bed and heading out to the gym can get incredibly difficult if one “ponders” it to much. Spending 30 minutes on the elliptical felt Ok but the 24 hour protein only diet that started at 16.00 ...
