Eating fruit while cutting
I have looked at many cutting diets from people who have very low body fat and one thing i have noticed is that they do not include fruit an any of their meals, particularly apples and bananas
I have done some resarch and some articles embrace fruit while cutting body fat because it gives you a 'full' sensation making you not feel as hungry
What are your thoughts on having fruit while cutting? particularly apples and bananas

I keep fruit intake to a bare minimum while cutting. The most I'll have is some berries with my oats preworkout, but that's about it. The goal is to keep sugar intake as low as possible, <20g is ideal IMO, and while fruit provides plenty of benefits (fiber, antioxidants, vitamins, etc), it still contains sugar, and plenty of it.

Fit it into your macros and you're all good. I maintain 8-9% and eat fruit 2x daily, and usually a poptart or cereal postworkout.

0 cardio for the past 8 months. Strictly diet carb cycling for a lean bulk, keeping high carb days on leg and back days, where carbs are 350-400, and on other workout days carbs at 200-225, off days carbs at 175. Works for me fast metabolism lol I used to be CRAZY about "clean" foods, but now I eat usual bodybuilding foods 90% of the time, and that 1 meal postworkout is usually simple carbs like poptarts or whatever I enjoy as long as they fit within my macro numbers. I also make sure of hitting micros such as fiber.. But other than that 0 cardio, just solid diet I weigh every single thing I eat.

I was eating lots of fruit but recently was told to cut it out due to the sugar contents.

Thanks guys, I have been carb cycling recently, I was eating a lot of fruit pretty much with every meal
Since I've cut down on it I've seen a change, especially since cutting down on the amount of bananas I've been eating every day

Ditto - I try to cut out as much sugars as possible -- which includes apples and bananas, sadly.

Bananas and berries only, but when cutting, VERY minimal and mostly early on in the day.
