There are many variations for football workouts. I would imagine at your size you are a defensive/offensive lineman. What you need to do is break up your training into dynamice effort (speed) days and max effort (heavy) days. My max effort days consist of a modified 5x5 program. My 5x5 program includes 5 work sets increasing the weight every set going up to about 90-95% of my 1 rep max. My dynamic effort day consist of either 10x2 or 6x3 for core excersises of the squat, bench, overhead and cleans and about 70% of my one rep max. Assistance excersises should be done in the avenue of either 3 or 4 sets of 8-10 reps. Your focus needs to be on the squat and cleans. These will help you more on the football field than any other excersises because both are all about explosive strength. Do not deadlift and clean in the same week, IMO. I only deadlift once every two weeks. Core strength is also essential. Overhead presses, abs, and low back work needs to implemented as well. Plyometrics will help your speed and explosiveness as well. If you are training twice a day, on your dynamic clean day you should do your plyos for your second workout of the day. Every body is different so you may need more or less volume for results. But careful not to overtrain and make sure even though your are cycling that you get enough rest so your body can recover. Rest is essential even though gear allows you to push your body harder/longer, you still need proper recovery time and proper diet to maximize your gains while on gear and keep them afterwards. weight today is 280.4 looks like i am climbing a a rate of .5 a week not bad still under docs care maybe when i start back up i will be 282 if i do start back and my weight is 282 i will reach 290+ in the first 10 days nice cant wieght

well spoke with the doc today and i might get the ok soon. weight today 280.6 i hope to never see the 270's again lol when i fight mma i will be in the super heavyweight class now 265 is the cut off for most but some dont have super heavy class jus 205 and up

the new avatar pic i finally found out how to cross my face out i will be getting some new pics up here as soon as i have them put on a disk this pic i was 258 pounds and around 13% bf i am now 280 i have gained 22 pounds and put 2 % extra bf so i have put on like 18 pounds muscle and around 4 pounds of fat so the ratio for the 22 pounds is like 20% fat and 80% muscle. and i have been off the gear over a month so i am not holding hardly no water weight and the fact i was only on the gear for 2 weeks before i got side lined means i really never got started

weight today is 281.4 nice i might get to 310 with my cycle that would be nice. i guess something is just clicking now i am gaining quality weight no cycle i kinda want to gain like 8 more pounds before i start but i will probably not

weight today is 282.4 i am very happy with my weight so far i might even have dropped .5% bf i know i have not gained any bf i cant wait to start my cycle back been a rough one to say the least had staph infection, bad on the job injury not a great cycle but i am happy with my weight and size have lost none of it. i should reach 300+ pounds by the end of the first month back on cycle

weight today is 283.4.
diet today
starter shake evreday will start with this until cycle is over
breakfast
1 cup oatmeal ,2tbls peanut butter, 1 banana, 2 scoops protein powder,2 cups 1% milk, 6 boiled egg whites oameal is blended in shake
meal 1 half pound lean ground turkey 1 cup brock, sweet potato
meal 2 1 grilled chicken breast 2 cups rice with mixed vegies
meal 3 repeat morning shake 1 hour before i go to the gym
post workout xxl drink 1090cals 220 grams carbs 50 grams protein
meal 4 its a toss up dont know the meals up top are set in stone i eat the same thin everyday until this meal i mix it up
meal 5 repeat breakfast 1100 cals
meal 1 hour before bed steak or chicken and sweet potato and 2 cups yogurt
i wake up about 3-4 hours after going to sleep and drink 3 ensure breakfast drinks and go back to sleep
this is about 750 gs carbs 440 gs protein and about 6000 cals

weight today 284.8 today is going to be an off day diet as stated look up. i feel great to be back on my cycle. the liquid -d is working very good massive pumps but dang that taste i feel like i should be in the 290's in a week or so we shall see 300 here i come.

YAY another big guy. I am 6'5 265 with 14%. About 5 weeks now into my 1st cycle ( 500MG WK SUST. / 500MG EQ Currently ) Im loving it but cant wait to cut up lean again like I was. Shoulder injury(hockey) kept me away from the gym awhile and i began drinking so its been fun trying to get ripped again. I just wanted to say goodluck with 300, i feel too big at 265 and i cant imagine 300. Ill follow it

Check out this link of the 5x5 routine. If you are trying to build some serious mass and overall body strength, you need to stop thinking in terms of body parts and start thinking more in terms of excersise focus. For instance instead of a leg workout, you need to think in terms of a squat workout (whether it's dynamic effort or max effort). The powerlifting forum on this board has some great ideas that are actually better for athletics than any bodybuilding routine. Check it out:

weight this morning 286.4 dang i feel full all the time food seems not to be good anymore anyways i am looking to be 305 by the end of august i would have been back on my cycle 5 weeks not bad. i thought the 300 pound mark would be so hard to pass but it has not been at all its is going easy so i am setting a new goal my old one was to get to 300 and cut back to 285 my new goal is to get to 330 and cut back to 310-315

weight tonight 290.8 danm these pumps are amazing i dont know what the differnce between liquid d and the pill form but the liquid really works for me
2x a good i wonder why if u guys know let me know. just me and my struggle for the never ending insane battle of being huge i feel that i am big but not near big enough when will this mind frame end i dont know i will never be big enough for my own personal satisfation insane huh i guess it is.

weight this afternoon is 292.4 i am very pleased with my progress thus far i have just started to feel the test again the d-bol is amazing i also have thrown in 1 gram of test propinate each week for the first three weeks with the d-dol and test e just to jump start real good i have done this in the past and like the results i feel pumped all the time i wish i were hungry but i never am so i feed on a time evertime just for the nutreints will its great to be back on my cycle cant wait for the end result

today is going to be a great day first i woke up kinda depressed i felt like i lost 3-4 pounds but i weighed in at my highest morning total to date 289.4 so i feel lighter but i have gained weight this is a great thing i was feeling bloated and slow and today i feel light and lean great i love it my goal for the end of the day weight is 295. i want to have this light and lean feeling at 315 we shall see what happens

weight this evening is 294.2 almost made my goal of 295 oh well i feel great good workout today quad hurts like hell must have hit a vein on the way in oh well it happens. diet today has been great i am acutally hungry for a change damn i just ate and i am hungry again this is great i have not been hungry for a week just been stuffing it down i will get in three more meals today before i go to bed and that will put me at 6300 cals for the day not bad. my goal is to be over 300 by the end of the month and maintaining around 305-310 somewhere in there would be great i was joking to my friends at the gym and told them i was going to go to 400 pounds and cut back to 350 they all laughed at me kinda funny but unreal goal at this point i feel like it was harder for me to get from 225 to 250 than 250 to 300 i wonder if it will be easier to 300-350 at the rate i am going i think i can get to 330 by x-mas with no added body fat just my 15% i would like to get to 350 by feb 07 and cut back to 325 with 12-13 % bf by spring football tryouts

yes indeed my diet is on weight this morning 291.8 first day i have woke up and weighed over 290 very pleased with this result. my goal for the end of this week was to wake up in the 290"s maintaining it i think i am going to complete that goal easy. my new goal is by next friday to be waking up over 297 and in the evening being over 300 pounds. this is going way better than planned on 7/22/06 i was 282 and i have gained 10 pounds since then i love it my legs are finally getting thick and catching up to my upper body everything is falling into place
