Taken a few week out before my show last summer. I can no longer do deadlifts or any form of lower back work due to a back injury I sustained outside the gym. If you look closely you can see the scar on my lower back where I had several surgeries to try and correct the problem.

Back injury occured while racing motorcross over 20 years ago. I was ran over by another bike and had 3 disk removed and my spine fused. I would be bigger, especially in the lower body if I had no limitations. However, I feel it's made me a better trainer regarding the mind muscle link.

For those of you with bikes please be careful!

Here are my transformation pictures using the Slingshot Training System.

Pic 1) I had not trained in a couple of years due to having surgeries. Picture was taken at age 32. I know it was sad...LOL..

Pic 2) Taken at age 39 for local newpaper. I had just got back into training after having been off for 6 months from a bicep tendon repair surgery. I popped my tendon experimenting with rest-pause training (never again)!!!

Pic 3 ) Taken after my bicep tendon surgery (OUCH)!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Pic 4) Taken at age 41 during an off-season bulking phase.

Nice transformation slideshow...just curious, how much and what (if any) gear did you do over this time period along with the slingshot routine? I mean cause let's be honest...you didnt get from A to B without some kind of steriod use...

Looking MASSIVE Ronnie!! How did you get so vascular like that? Is it genetic or enhanced with something like EQ? What's your current body fat percentage?

Thanks for the compliment! It's genetics and hard training (time under tension) using impeccable form over weight that's mostly made me more vascular. I do not like EQ but TEST/TREN can certainly help. Not sure about body fat as I go by the mirror instead of calipers.

It certainly gets more difficult as you age but hang in there and keep pounding away. Consistency is key. I wish I had done back in my 20's what I am doing now. My arms once hit 22 inches pumped in the offseason at age 32 when I first started test. Slingshot Training has really helped me make progress (even at age 44). It's not always easy but very effective if you stick to it.

You know, my legs use to be one of my strong points in terms of size but the nerve damage has caused major atrophy. The vascularity is still there and the size is coming back some so I will kep pounding away this off-season and see how it goes.

My wifes progress with Slingshot Training!

In case you have not seen my wifes progression pics heres a link-http://forums.steroid .com/showthread.php?t=361620

Now let me add some new pics of her just taken 5 weeks out from our show. My wife Kathy Rowland is now 47 years old and quite a mesomorph. Take a close look at her thick neck and the huge garden hose veins (This gives it away!) She's every bit as strong as she looks and then some.

Okay let me post some of her pics I just took at our home.
