Actually it's around 25 million for the cup winner I believe. The total purse for the world cup is around 280 million. You get a sum at each exit level. Therefore even 1st round losers exit with 4-5 million. Everyone is a winner.

It's been a great world cup. Great Games, Goals, Excited games, I love this game with a passion. All teams are great, some better then others but congrats to all the teams win or loose. Mexico could of win last friday but they weren't playing like the first game Vs. IRAN. First 15 minutes were great but tha's it. I hope Mexico wins this next game. As for the other teams, they are looking great also. Good job for all the teams.

I'm rootin' for the US but it isn't looking good for them, having to beat Ghana. I just don't think it's gonna happen. They blew their first game against the Czechs, they didn't turn it on until they played Italy. Argentina, on the other hand, looks unstoppable. This may be their year.

yehh...Ecuador got their asses handed to them. Germancy will lose the 1st or 2nd game of the playoffs mark my words. There defense sucks and they still havn't had a rel challenging team. Overall good performance by Germany.

I would have to say Argentina right now but Brazil turned on the magic tonight.
