And I have to say, Zinedine Zidane was man of the match and he finished that off perfectly with that beautiful goal.

He may be 34, he may be old, he may not be as fast as he once was but that brilliance is still there!

You know, I hope England take note of that match. France, like England, is being written out as no hopers who will crash and burn. Yes they had a slow start to the World Cup but they showed Spain tonight who was boss. Bad news for Spanish supporters everywhere, a fairytale for France.

If France play like that against Brazil, Brazil could be in BIG trouble. As superb as Brazil is, and yes I know they beat Ghana 3-0 today but they kept wavering between brilliant and beatable in that match.

I cant believe Spain lost! woow they deserved to win. They always get unlucky! it will be a better match for the papers France v.s Brazil....its a rematch of the WC 98 Finals soo should be nice to watch!

Owen is out! Rooney is playing injuired! (hes 60% ready, which isnt good enough)

They are unorganized and have no strong offense! The only way they will score in my opinion is either a Penalty shot or a Freekick that Beckham will bend in!

I kind of think it's funny how the bottom 8 are set up - You have your 4 traditional fights well at least the 4 who go over big where i'm from Argentina, brazil port and Italy - playing some other teams... I'm speaking from a very narrow perspective.

Uusual rivalries i guess where i live are Brazil, port ital and argentina and they are all set to play four other teams - it's kind of cute

I know, i hate Argentina. I don't really like both teams but i would rather see Germany win.
