yup, they do everything a regular anesthesiologist does. Every once in awhile the doc comes into the room to check on them. It pays very well as far as nursing gigs go. What do you want to know?

When i was younger i use to buy my brother everything i wanted.
I would buy him a playstation game and he would look at me and say "Whats this?" I would then grab it and run to the playstation.

and I hate buying people stuff. christmas day is fine.
I talked my parents into doing christmas in VT this year so I can ski on chrismas day, the jewish people swear by it, I did it last year too.

My friend is a doc and was saying I really should think twice, that being a doc isn't what it used to be and suggested that as a possible career. I'm intrigued. He said there's not a lot of liability involved and it's a stable career. It pays decently, too.

yeah, it's pretty cool I guess...I work in OR's so I see them all the time. They sit on their ass at the little cart with all the meds and keep quiet for the most part. It looks kinda boaring to me, but I guess they make like 60-80, it's one of the highest paid nurses. Sometimes they **** up and the patient starts moving or waking up (sometimes it happens for no reason explainable), and the surgeonsyell at them, so you need to deal with surgeon ego's. You can kill somebody by accident, so that's always fun.

btw, I was going to be a doc, decided against it after working in a hospital. The docs I work with make 7 figures. A lot of average docs aren't making enough to survive so there is a big spread depending on what you do and it didn't look like a lot of fun to me. You need to work your ass off and it has to be your life or don't bother.

I looked up the average salary and it was low 6 figures. I could be bored for that $. As for surgeons... I used to be a bartender. I can't imagine it's worse than dealing with belligerent drunks.
