    i did and finished a general business degree (worthless).....was looking at a job for 50k a year up in chicago until the economy went down and they cut everyone in the company.... now I'm going back soon to study something I actually enjoy sports medicine

    Brightflight was only for ACT.....30 or above.....which my 1470 definitely is above translated...but they wouldn't take it....I had to do the SATs for all the california schools i was applying to....

    when I was applying the real tough schools wanted sat and sat2 so I took both. You could have done the same.

    Yep at the time when I started in 2003 the economy wasn't like this and I always thought I'd be a good businessman for whatever reason.... had not actually realized my passion.... this.....

    Well I did manage to get a job after the offering up in chicago down where I live...... it was with a logistic company but they cut me since I was a newbie.... now I freakin serve and do construction part time..... sucks....

    But at least I have work in order to put food in my mouth, pay rent, I actually bought a brand new Jeep Grand Cherokee this past november etc etc.... just sucks I have to work a dead in type job

    I still don't understand why ruhl doesn't wanna MAN up and get a job.....

    I think serving is the best thing you can do when in college just gotta find the right place.... I worked at PF Changs and would make up 700$ a week sometimes with 30 hours of work and 15-18 hrs of school and a 3.2 GPA to finish plus my bodybuilding

    Been there done that.... serving is much better and you don't have to worry about the consequences afterwards


    serving is easy just gotta be at a high end place and just learn to let stuff roll off your shoulders..... I mean right now I'm on tren and haven't had a episode yet.... I sometimes stand there and get heated but I don't let loose.... till I get to the back

    I had to work hotel front desk in college...it didn't pay nearly that much...my parents weren't going to give me any spending money

    I only worked high end service. Wine snobbery and menus in foreign languages. There is definitely money to be made.... I am just not much of a people person. I have no pity or patience for idiots and they make up a grand portion of the population.

    My father is a vietnam vet and wasn't raised with all kinds of fancy shit so he doesn't see the need in spoiling me either.... He wants me to be responsible for myself and what I want.... don't get me wrong they would help me in a time of need and they have but its all about being a grown man.... I've had some type of job ever since I was 12 mowing lawns around the neighborhood in order to buy things I wanted

    I know a girl who had 2 jobs, a kid, and still managed to graduate with a 3.8 in pre-med....

    Now she is doing her residency I think.... she will be loaded soon enough

    that's funny reed, cause my parents have more than plenty too but they never gave me any, except for the leftover money from college thing.

    I started mowing lawns at 12 and had it built up to a pretty decent business by 16 then passed it on to my little brother.

    Started washing dishes at 14 and had a job ever since

    my dad had to dig posts for his father's construction company growing up and didn't want me to be a lazy falk, not that I'm not lazy, but I keep a paycheck rolling in.
