Haha I can't stand the horrid production, why do they purposely make it sound like shit? I listen to some black metal but you'd probably think it's "sell out" cause it doesn't sound like it was recorded through a hand held tape recorder.

Always mad respect to the drummers who play speed metal. That shit is difficult. Not so much to play as it is to not cramp up and have to stop.

I don't think most purposly make it sound like shit, except maybe some NSBM bands (who do that to clearly distinguish themself from regular BM bands). Most bands have either no budget and/or have no clue about production.

Yeah I don't really understand how some drummers do it. I saw Meshuggah live and watched their drummer play the 8 minute song flawlessly, and it really didn't make sense how one man could manage
