c69 -- couple things
In addition to Fox editing his response out of the re-run... lookit this..

Huckabee's gates of hell and Thompsons virgins comments got the biggest response to any other comments in that debate. It's sad... SC for ya, I guess.
On your locale... didn't you say you live in FL and you saw tons of Ron Paul signs -- more than any other candidate? Check this one out...

Dude, I have to say... I have become so upset with all of it that its beginning to bring me down and make me feel very negative in an overall general sense.
Election fatigue I think it's called, or perhaps I am just tired of seeing corruption, hypocrisy, destruction, and death in the media and politics.
I need a break....

I've felt the exact same way since the debate, my friend. Work got my mind off it a bit today though...
It just sucks because, when you look at the issues that are important.... nobody but Ron Paul is saying anything. Sure, Romney or who ever can say, " I'm worried about our economy and I intend to work hard to make sure we don't go in to a recession!" (cheers from the audience)
But did he really say anything???? I didn't hear it...

Im with both of you. It is really depressing to think that chances are once again we are going to have to choose between two candidates (dem and repub) who both dont appeal to us and we wouldnt support. Always comes down to " the lesser of two evils". It looks like it might be Mccain vs Obama. If it comes down to that I am going to have to break with many generations of my family and vote democrat for president.

Mccain is such an idiot,
i agree with the lesser of two evils being Obama, its sad that neither one would actually change anything.
still hoping Paul can gain some ground

I just watched 60 min, which I tivoed this weekend... There was a piece on Facebook... they talked about how all the candidates have their own page and they said rep were more popular than dems, showing Huckabee's and Giuliani's (i think) profiles... then they said Obama is hugely popular and Hillary is very unpopular....
BUT NOT A WORD ABOUT RON PAUL!!!!!!!!!! W T F !!???
Everybody knows he's number one online, Facebook included!!!! No credit where credit is due!!??
Something is not right here. I am gonna move to New Zealand or something...

Look up New Zealand, it is a really nice place. They are totally self contained and grow organic foods. Great landscape, great climate, scenery is wonderful (just watch Lord of the Rings movies, all them great shots). Their currency is about the same as here and it's stable. Also, it is part of the British commonwealth, and if you are a citizen, you are free to move about in the commonwealth as much as you like. Commonwealth includes, off the top of my head; Australia, Canada, Britian, Scotland, parts of Ireland, and some various islands in the pacific and atlantic.

There is something worth saying on a level of optimism regarding this topic:
The internet is changing everything. All of us here that see as we do have been able to research our respective interests, and others have shown us information that we'd never have had access to without it. Video compilations, comparisons, all kinds of contrasting material, catching politicians in lies and doublespeak. These are things the media won't do, but us here have the mind to.
As future generations grow up, everyone is being raised with this technology and this interface. more and more people are using it everyday, learning and understanding. In 2004 Howard Dean picked up an internet following and got some decent funds. 4 years later, Ron Paul is the man, and his movement is even larger, gaining even more funding. This trend will continue, more people will become aware. This is our playing field, the field of intellectuals, the tech savvy, the coherent, and the wise. The media has no control here. They cannot sway the masses, edit out footage, manipulate statistics, and tell us who is worth listening to.
THE DARK STORM CLOUD ON THE HORIZON
There is this however, that should worry us all. As the elitists that are now in control become more aware of us here, they will do everything they can to exercise control of the internet, to have the same level of control over it as the media. We've seen attempts at this already, the Gov trying to regulate the internet. There have been tax proposals, and even laws passed to control web content.
People need to be aware and understand:
Those that are in power want to stay in power. It is a very safe place to be. The elitists, the wealthy, some tend to look down on the lower classes, think of them as lower animals of some sort. They have no qualms with mistreatment and corruption. They will protect their investments at any cost, to protect their legacy and their progeny. Don't think for a second that a multibillion dollar industry would go down without a fight. They'd spend millions if not billions to sway public opinion to favor their position. We are seeing this now with Ron Paul. All the elite have to do is grease a few palms and "poof", like magic.

Plus they have no poisonous snakes! I have an associate who is living in New Zealand right now. He loves it over there. But like Australia, those wishing to move there must bring skills to the country which would benefit it. Moving there to become a laborer will not get you citizenship.

Alrighty,
I just checked the voting situation in Michigan. Paul is at 4th place, beating out Giuliani and Thompson, but this AP news report right here: http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/republican_rdp the article mentions Giuliani AND Thompson and NOT PAUL!! They don't mention him even once.
Just another example, the media DOES NOT WANT YOU TO KNOW WHO RON PAUL IS!!!
This article is on the Yahoo main page right now.

Their is no way that you can actually deny that Ron Paul gets no media attention. Yes, your correct about Paul not leading anywhere, but I wonder why that is. It's not because people don't like his views (even hannity said that he agrees with most of his policies except foreign policy). The reason is because no one knows who the hell he is.
Here is Sean Hannity talking to Ron Paul just incase you don't believe me: http://youtube.com/watch?v=UQIlNVbttuM.

Watched the debate lastnight, here is a synopsis of Ron Paul's responses. There is a segment in here where he gets to ask McCain a direct question, totally schools him. McCain doesn't know what the hell is going on so he just starts name dropping and completely avoids the question. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HTh-jhcI51c
