IRS accounts to about 1/3 of what the government makes. If we got rid of the income tax and replaced it with nothing, the budget would go back to the level we were spending about 10 years ago. With all the cuts RP wants I imagine it would be simple to go back to our spending we did 10 years ago. Ron Paul has stated that we pay a gas tax that is "supposed" to pay for roads. That's why we pay a gas tax, anyway.. So that is one way, another would be tariffs.
