If you had even a GLIMMER of what my life was like you wouldnt make such an ignorant comment. My sister-raped and killed. My Life, almost taken from me while I was riding my bike by a DRUNK CEO of a MAJOR Corp. My DAD.. Well everyone has DADDY ISSUES..

None of these pertain to my fvcking RIGHT not my MENTAL STATE to own a GUN. I am Acknowledge by THE ATF enough to have a CLASS III stamp.. NOT EVERY JOE SCHMOE gets one of those, to get one, you go through an extensive background check, including psychiatric history, I shoot COMPETITIVELY For the IDPA. I enjoy the SPORT of shooting Guns. It is a hobby and FUN for me. FURTHERMORE... I collect FVCKING GUNS.. Big whoop...

And MR. TROUBLED YOUTH.. What you think you are the only one who grew up on the streets slangin' drugs, dropping out of high school and spending the better part of your YOUTH Locked up?? Try again.

Here's a little peek into part of my ASSAULT RIFLE COLLECTION that he deems UNNECESSARY FOR THE AMERICAN CIVILIAN PUBLIC TO POSSESS...



Inside ONE of my Gun Safes which is LOCATED inside a GATED CHAINLINK ARMORY in my BASEMENT... This is My Assault RIFLE Safe, with scattered upper's and lowers, a few handguns hanging on the door.. and of course.. extra BARREL'S In case I melt one down... to the right of this safe is MY BENCH, which is where I do all my RELOADS, and keep my Clips and such.. also.. a Comfy recliner with a swivel stand which is where I am typing this currently.. keep going further right you hit my next gun safe which houses all MY HANDGUNS and Shotguns... Train a little bit MORE to the right and you hit the Glass Locked Cabinet my Grandfather built out of Mahogany... beautiful really.. and that houses the rest of my collection.. which contains your BASIC RIFLES.. Bolt Actions, Lever Actions.. My Basic HUNTING RIFLES... And of course a few OLD SCHOOL WW1 and WW2 rifles.. the MOSIN NAGANT and KAR98K...



This is a FEW of my Favorites.. I keep these ones upstairs in the event I can't get down to my Armory at night.. so These ones lay scattered around the house.. HIDDEN of course.. where only the WIFE and I know where they are... All Are Loaded with 5.56 FMJ ... except the Norinco-- which of course is 7.62 x 39 (JHP--125gr. 2400fps.. MmMmM GOODNESS) and the Springfield SAR-8 which is chambered in my FAVORITE SNIPER Round outside of the 50BMG.. the .308 (WHICH of course is loaded with 175gr. Hollow Point, copper jacketed, compressed powder core.. DRT'S !![Dead Right There] !!!


So I DARE anyone to break in.. I've been waiting.. and I am WAITING for the DAY the OBAMA Adminstration calls a BAN on ALL ASSAULT WEAPONS...

Just got home from work, You are in the shower. You set your favorite pistol on the stand in Bathroom, under your towel. 3 Hostile Intruders break in with guns drawn looking to rob and kill whatever family is in the house-- they don't expect you to be awake, let alone in the shower.. armed , you must exit shower grab pistol sound of the beep you GO... Double tap first one in the chest, one in the head.. the second one has grabbed your wife/kid (whatever) and is using said person as a human shield-- You must Shot the hostile One SHOT in the head.. 3rd Hostile Two in the head. --Scenario End

That right there.. HAPPENED to someone before, and it's quite an often scenario we run on our training days and JUST used it for the first time at OUR Regional Comp Meet just about a month ago now....

So I am sick and tired of hearing that I am a RED DAWN FREAK.. I am a fvcking competition shooter... and I train myself for such scenario's that might HAPPEN.. not saying Will happen.. sooooooo.... Yah, that's that. Not to mention, the actual IDPA I belong to is run by A PASTOR, and 6 Cops/2 Sheriffs/and 1 State Trooper belong to our lil niche .. Not to mention 5 retired Police Officers... Yah, we are QUITE the Bunch but we all Love the Sport of Shooting.. and NO none of them have a collection as EXTENSIVE as Mine and out of all of them.. Only 1 of them knows the TRUE EXTENT of my Collection.. 1 Retired Cop.. Who also happens to be MY FATHER IN LAW... So I highly doubt he will rob me.. but hey i guess anything is possible.. and in that event.. I am screwed.. He is a 10 times Better shot than I am. OK, D7M.. One more time.. I have a lot of money.. this is true. I know there is a lot of information in this thread, and you probably haven't read through everything.. BUT I KNOW YOU KNOW that I suffered a very bad accident at the behest of some drunken asshole while I was SOBER riding my bike and almost died. His insurance company settled with me for a VERY HEALTHY AMOUNT. I am not going to begin to disclose exactly how much nor the details. But lets just say enough money to where I LIVE very very comfotably. DOWNSIDE being I am in PAIN on a daily basis that I must overcome and push to the side .. And to top it off I get a monthly check due to my disability since it technically left me disabled... so yah, I have more than enough money to enjoy spending money frivolously if I want but I DO NOT consider my GUN COLLECTION Frivolous spending.. AS I HAVE SAID 20 times already. IT IS AN INVESTMENT. Just like people take money and invest in the stock market or Bonds or whatever ELSE is out there for people to invest in.

BUT I KNOW YOU KNOW that I suffered a very bad accident at the behest of some drunken asshole while I was SOBER riding my bike and almost died. His insurance company settled with me for a VERY HEALTHY AMOUNT. I am not going to begin to disclose exactly how much nor the details. But lets just say enough money to where I LIVE very very comfotably. DOWNSIDE being I am in PAIN on a daily basis that I must overcome and push to the side .. And to top it off I get a monthly check due to my disability since it technically left me disabled... so yah, I have more than enough money to enjoy spending money frivolously if I want but I DO NOT consider my GUN COLLECTION Frivolous spending.. AS I HAVE SAID 20 times already. IT IS AN INVESTMENT. Just like people take money and invest in the stock market or Bonds or whatever ELSE is out there for people to invest in.

I have an addiction to them.. basically when it boils down to it.. they aren't all the same caliber, and NONE are the same GUN perse.. yes some fire the standard 5.56.. but I also have 6.8, .450bushmaster, 7.62, .308win... some auto, some not...some colts, some bushmasters, some smith and wesson, some stag, ALL DIFFERENT...

It's a collection brother.. WHEN SOMEONE COLLECTS SOMETHING THEY NEVER REPEAT BUY THE SAME EXACT THING.. Take stamps for example.. if you buy an ABE LINCOLN w/ a hat.. are you going to buy two of the same ONE.. What people here don't understand is that in IDPA shooting it was created to put shooters in a defensive scenario that they need to solve with their shooting. It's not combat shooting but it teaches you to shoot under stress and to solve a problem as quickly and effeciently as possible with your shooting. It's a VERY well respected organization and has a huge following.

I do a similiar type of shooting called USPSA. It is less about defensive shooting and more about freedom of solving a scenario with your shooting. The difference being is that it's less constricting and they don't require the use of cover and tactics etc. It's more of a game per say.

Sharpshooter.. hopefully next year I qualify as EXPERT... i've only been involved for ohh like 28 months now.. I progressed pretty fast according to our S.O.'s but.. i feel I could have done a hell of a lot better at my last regional comp. If I had won my division and class I would have immediately been promoted to EXPERT.. but uhhh haha.. that SOOO Wasn't the case at all... I placed 17th overall.. out of 65 shooters... not bad in retrospect.. but pretty goddamned horrible for my standards.. I dropped from the previous.. where I was 9th. AND I thought I had done better.. ehhh.. so is life.. There's always next year!!!

Good for you keep at it. The best advice I can give you is to learn to call your shots. It's hands down the most important shooting skill you will ever learn. Also, read Brian Enos book Practical Shooting Beyond Fundamentals. It is hands down the best book you can read. Also, check out all of the Matt Burkett Videos if you haven't. I had him down for a seminar this past summer and it was fantastic. I've been training a buddy that was an IDPA Expert and he just made Master a few months ago. He's a Master in ESP and a B level in USPSA Production. I made master at the end of last year in USPSA open division.

I'm using the Brazos Custom guns as they are the best out there. Otherwise I use a 1911. For IDPA I shoot either a 9mm 1911 or an M&P Pro 9mm. I've only shot IDPA a few times and haven't been ranked. I'm sure I could make master if I put a little bit of time in.

I know this is gang up on Deuce week, but come on, give it a rest already. if a part of the thinking of any one of us were scrutinized to eveyone on the board, we'd all be considered "extreme" or "obsessive" or "strange". Under a microscope, even the most sane person looks crazy. It's like a catch 22 psych evaluation (i.e. Movie called Changeling w/ Angie Jolie). It's easy to see the spec in the eye of another, and not as eacy to see your own.

On a side note: Thinking of scenarios is NOT crazy, maybe a bit obsessive (which is healthy), but not crazy. Has noone heard of the "How to survive...etc." shows and books? LOL. I'm a young female with non-violent upbringing and not traumatic experieces in my past. Yet, since I was a teenager, I've always thought of "what if" scenario ranging from what I'd do to save myself & loved ones if:

• I accidently drove into a lake
• if an impending car accident were to occur (how I would maneuver my car to avoid it)
• if my car was hijacked and I was put in the trunk (I have certain tools in my trunk)
• If I'm attacked by an alligator (I'm fr FL, lol)
• If I'm attacked by a baby shark (again, I'm fr FL, lol.)
• If a man attackes me in the streets
• If a fire broke out in a bldg I was in
• if a flash flood occurred-what I'd grab first, etc(even own an emergency life raft--Again, FL)
• Is someone with a gun were to come in to the current office or public place I'm in--what's best spot to hide or sneak out of (I always make sure I know a few exits or any place I'm in)
• If my apt bldg were to catch on fire (I even have that portable rope ladder thing)
• If an intruder were to break into my house (I have "weapons" all over just in case I have to run to one of the other rooms).

I just think of the best course of action that would save my life and provide the least harm. You might even call me paranoid , but the fact is that I'm quite normal and there are many people that think the same way I do. We all have different personalities and thought processes, and everyone has their quirks.

Anyhow, all I'm saying is "live and let live. It's easy to point at one person and dissect something that is natuarally "easy to hate".....it's like ganging up on the child molester/killer or Enron execs--Yeah, its's accepted and easy becasue most people think they're bad. So now there's this image of Deuce as a gun fanatic, race war preparer, redneck NRA member that probably doesn't like anything non-white (typical stereotypes). I'm NOT saying that's what he is. These are just common associations/generalizations many people make when they are confronted with what they perceive to be a 'scary' "weapon zealot".....lol.

Relax, have a beer, pump out a load or two*, smoke some grass, chew some tobacco, or shoot up some of that "stuff"...whatever's your poison--just do it and quit being so judgemental (this is an AAS forum)! :
