They are all pretty much the same. Trust me on your first visit you want to stay at one of the 100+ hotels on walking street. A few blocks away is WAY to far when its 3am with one or two little hunnies hanging off your arms

I just think that Walking Street would get old fast being that i plan on being there for a month. In fact i have the opportunity to stay there for a long time. I have an email in play with one of the institutions in BK - just ironing out the details now.
I may spend the first wk or two in Pattaya, then back to BK for the remainder to conduct some business, and perhaps an interview or two.
There are also some condos that look appealing. Again, for long term needs.

Serviced Apts from 6300THB (can imagine what they look like..lol) up to 22,000THB.

And the Sam View Apts.

Ahh ok got you. Then I siggest this. Still don't research to much. Print out a few to go look at after you get there. Find a hotel to stay at on walking street for at least the first week if jot 10 days because it will not get old that fast.
Aster you have been there a few days then go look at some of the condos to stay in but its likely you won't go look for at least a week or more.
If you did nothing more than plan on visiting 4 or 5 bars each night you would stay husy for at least a couple of months before you saw them all.Last edited by lovbyts; 03-28-2013 at 05:11 PM.

Ill vave to look from my pc later but mostly I stayed on walking street or the house I rented that was by far to far away even though it was only 15 minutes or less by taxi.
In Bangkok I stayed at a hotel again in walking distance to the activity or at my gf condo. Damn nice condo let me tell you although small it was upper class by any standard. Her restaurant was on the main floor below the condo.

Best hotel and best location is the Siam Bayshore Resort, I always stay there. Its an incredible place. I highly recommend it for single and family travelers to Pattaya.

That's where my friends from Bangkok took me when we spent the night in pattaya, it was a nice place for the price/location. As you leave the resort and start walking up walking street there a nice Russian restaurant on your right in a dark red (I think) building. Good place if you wanna try Russian cuisine.
$171 - $500 a night in Thailand it had better come with 2-3 girls of your choice. Those are crazy stupid prices honestly.
The most I ever paid was about $90 a night for a 3 bedroom with swimming pool and it was a house.
Most hotels were $40-$60
That's more like it.

4 bedroom house with pool in/near Pattaya $150 night and I'm sure you can find much better deals if you do some shopping.
